Hotel to stay in Sydney?

  I like the Oaks Goldsborough in Piermont. They also have serviced apartments which is great for me as sometimes I like to cook for a special friend. The building has a fantastic history (for those interested in such things) the staff are great and non intrusive, the facilities first class and the occassional resident that you run into and strike up a conversation with normally quite civilised.

  WE have always found the York Apartments on York St a favourite - a one bedroom apartment gives you lots of play opportunities and its close to the Rocks and other drinking/nightlife venues in the city. Vakasydney and us shared an awesome number of hours there!

  have to agree on the Oaks Goldsborough.....sensational hotel, and very convenient...handy to light rail, monorail and a short covered walk to Darling Harbour... easy to get to and from, and the airport bus guys all know where it is...........
