Hot chicks on wheels...

Over the week end, my buddy Ali' and I went north to watch one of Western Australias' roller derby leagues. I was new to this and totally unprepared. Unprepared for the massive traffic jam in the car park..Unprepared for the range of wonderful women on wheels all confidently knocking each other over.Unprepared in that I did not have a witty sign to hold up..This is a great night out people. It's camp, a little sexy and loud. It is a real sport. There are rules and an understandable scoring mechanic. The women also give them selves awesome names.. Like Ja'main Fear, Darth Vida and Cradle of Milf (very metal)..So.. lets nominate a Bakery Roller Derby team.. You can nominate a lady. If she sees the post and accepts the nomination, she gives her self a Roller Name in her post..I'll start with two. Meeka100 and Dark_moon_lillithAre you up for it?

Bow my roller Derby name is Lily moon light, an my hair will have to be white, long and flowing, I have a light saber and white glow in the dark undies, corset and pekaboo bra set with glow in the dark white fishnets.

The next one is 25 August and I'm gonna be on wheels myself at that one... We're gonna need signs that cheer for "Team Zebra"... Black and white stripes people... hehe... I'll be wearing fishnets

LRE, I love how you refer to the 'Bakery'... Maybe the Team name could refer somehow to 'Croquembouche', and this is where my immaturity comes out... sounds like, well you're not stupid you know what it sounds like, haha, not sure if that is how its spelt, but its a french cake tower made out of delicious custard filled profiteroles... YUM...

I see roller derby has taken off in perth. Damn I used to skate when I was a "bit" younger. And there is no roller derby for men but I reckon it may cause more damage cause men can't play safely. Ms velvet blue could be "velvet glove". A couple of the women I ride m/bikes with also do roller derby so I really should go and support them but working nights... Mike

I'd not really given the team name much thought.. But your right, we do need a sobriquet.. I like your thinking, but I wonder if our derby girls should be a little tougher than creme puffs? Even if they are crunchy??yummy crunchy girls... OK it works.. LOL Quoting 'Saskia72' ... Maybe the Team name could refer somehow to 'Croquembouche',....

sounds awesome fun, thank you Aido... Will go with 'Smokin hot Sas', I would really like to wear the catwoman suit, all tight black leather, reinforced at the knees and elbows so I can forgo wearing those strap on safety pads and optional 'chap style' pants for those days when I'm feeling really cheeky... Are there such a thing as 'stiletto skates'? or knee high black leather ones, then I could be 'Puss in skoots' haha. I would like to nominate Mrs Tri... If its all holds barred then we are going to need someone with a quick wit to sledge the opposition as well as look damn hot. ( Lol, between Mrs Tri and Tuscan the other teams will be trembling at the knees through verbal intimidation alone) LRE, yes we do need something tough but sweet... That honour comes to you as team manager to come up with a few and then we all (RHP posters included) get to vote as to what we like perhaps...

"Puss in Skoots" That's so fucking awesome I can't believe it. What a great name..and I'll give the team name some thought and come back with a few Ideas. Maybe "profiter-rollers" given your original idea? hmmm.. I'll give it some more thought.
