Holiday workers

Hi everyone. I'm a chef which pretty much means that I make Christmas and new year happen for others. This got me thinking of all those who give up their holiday times for others. Not just chefs but waitresses, doctors, nurses, police, ambulance drivers, train drivers and all the others. Happy new year to all you people who make Christmas special for everyone else. Hope you had a good Christmas and I hope the new year is good to you. Shaun

Thanks ; ) We work in tourism, so I know what you mean! While others are out enjoying their prebooked and amazing day, we are making budgets work, booking other dates and managing companies! So yes, Christmas and New year is nt always celebrated on said day....But we do try to celebrate!!

to shaunmd..... what can one say but thank you.....your appreciation of holiday workers is the true spirit of xmas.... and to all the hospitality/retail sector - hope all the customers remembered there manners medical/police - hope it was relatively free from major disasters Cheers to all
