Has my world just ended?

May 01 2010

sex

Recently an old female school friend started chatting to me on FaceBook. She was and remains very discreet. We started sharing secrets and personal information and that has been kinda nice. I thought it might not do any harm for me to disclose to her my little hobby of swinging… She was very interested and asked lots of questions. I replied in my typically candid and honest way. She has kept it all to herself. Today she asked me to tell her all about a sex party I went to, so I thought it might be fun to give her chapter and verse, all the saucy detail of who I played with, how I played and what I saw. I thought the message was just between her and me. Now another friend from FaceBook has sent me a message, wanting to know why I sent my orgy message to all our friends. I checked and it is clear I somehow sent it to everyone. It was my fault entirely. Now my dark little sexy secret is known to all my old school friends, one old teacher, a priest and by now, everyone except my mother. Could somebody please help me? What THE FUCK AM I GOING TO DO?

That's a total, complete Facebook fail :(Are you sure you sent a Message as opposed to writing stuff Wall-to-Wall? It's a bit hard sending a private message to everyone on your friends list.If for some reason you did post the message on the Wall by mistake (thinking it was just a two-way conversation), you can just delete the post. Sadly you can't delete messages once sent, as per email :(At any rate, I would imagine most of your friends etc. would have read it?The only thing I can suggest is telling everyone that your account was hijacked by someone you know at work and an erotic story got sent around from your account? Not sure if it would be believe tho :(My sympathies!

Otherwise..the joke is definately on you!! That'll teach you to play both sides of the playing field...anyway...I thought facebook was for 12 year olds? Seriously....make a joke of it....humour usually disarms most situations.

check with your first friend that she didnt forward the message .....then send a deliberate message to ALL your friends to warn them that your facebook account has be hacked and luid messages are being sent from it !! Face book organisers are outraged and trying their best to prevent it happening to everyone else and you just wanted to warn them to be careful !! PHEWW and id suggest you start going back to church just for good measure ...for a while ....devotedly lol good luck......can always hide out in a dungeon or something for the rest of your life hopefully helpful miss b

OH lordy lord.. I stopped using facebook when my sister started carrying on about some stuff I aid on some person's page in a far away land.... lolz... Needless to say... whatever it is not, it's far from discrete if it is sent on facebook. In your instance, I would just ignore it... but if they ask.. tell them it was a preliminary draft for a new blue novel you thought to write... and ask for their input.. and suggestions. :p Hugs Stalky

Yup, play dumb and say someone hacked your facebook account, then start a new one for 'security' purposes

and how identifiable you are because of them ... i.e. names of people / places / things that a 'hacker' couldn't possibly know ... you could as everyone has said 'play dumb' and go the hacker route. If that won't work, concoct a story, any story - you were sharing a fantasy, you were trying to shock her, you were stringing her along (none of it to be mean, of course), it was someone else's story and you claimed it as your own to see what she would say, a mate was around, you were drinking, you fell asleep with your computer on and he went online and wrote it - or something like that. By this stage some of your other friends might have approached her to check if it's all true, and she might have confirmed. Have you spoken to her about it? If she's trustworthy, you might need to get her in on your story. Otherwise, deny deny deny as above. You could always try telling the truth, but yeah, if it was me I'd be lying my way out of it. My private life is just that ... private.Good luck!lilmiss x

Not the end of the world, but you can probably see it from there? It was a Joke, A hoax virus that bulk emails, A revenge plot from a past incident..... Use your imagination, mind you.... Once it's out......it's out!

Give em a few weeks and they will have forgoten all about it.....people have short memories and are generally so wrapped up in their own importance to remember what you did for very long. In the short term I guess its one way to find out who your friends are.....besides, who knows what doors may open to you as a result .Cheers Nev....

Love facebook but it can screw you over!I think the deny and my account option is a good one, also just so you know if you go into your sent items and delete it then the people you sent it to can no longer access it, delete any crossthreads or replies as well :) What was the story...do tell :) Love a saucy sextale :)

I had an aunt who decided to post on my facebook wall a few years back pleading with me to "sort things out with your wife..." and other such stuff. She claims to not have known what she was doing... but in reality she's a bitch that was interferring. Suddenly my other friends and business associates knew more about my personal life than I cared to share with them. On a side note... I was with a mate and his wife at a conference in Vegas. I was messing with his wifes iPhone and I jokingly (with her permission) posted that she was "running through the hotel naked with a can of whipped cream..." She and her hubby thought it was a riot... they are both regular church goers and fairly straight and would never post that on their page, but loved the joke... 20mins later the hubbys mother calls to ask if they were ok as she'd seen the facebook status. The "get out of jail card" was her comment "oh - some computer geek was messing with my computer" and his mother bought that - maybe you could use that ;-) Nope - in this world of Social Media, you need to be so very careful about what you say and where you say it :-) Wayne
