I read every single word of Neil's story and savoured every word. I think it's a gorgeous fantasy and he wrote it really well. If you don't appreciate Neil's fantasy, leave him alone to post it; other people can enjoy it (like me). If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. There's no point in being rude; no-one gains anything and you might just have hurt Neil's feelings so he doesn't post anything at all in the future.
