You say you used date finder to chat with guys , yet when i reached the end of reading your really well written profile , you end with " no single guys please " ? Such a let down 😫 So am I missing something here ? Do you mean guys plural ? as in ' you guys ( a couple ) ' and not singular ? Hope that makes sense.. ?

Sawadee, I don't see the problem. A lot on here prefer to search for guys themselves rather than be approached by singles. Couples might generally only be interested in other couples, but occasionally entertain a single guy. It's probably easier to have something like that in your profile rather than singles wasting messages on you when you're not looking 🤷♂️

I think they engage the little brain downstairs rather than the big brain up top. ~ Mrs Deep Love

Well, it's a better theory than just taking a jab at another profile for shits and giggles 😉

Occasionally we dip Our toes in the water with single guys until it reminds us not to go there again! We are slow learners!

I tend to find that kind of argument very entertaining. For the sinple factor: "people tend to never make mischoices, and is always someone else in falt" Could be a possibility?! Is a lit of people extremely good in pointing the finger in stead of looking at them selfs. I am not saying that is the case with you.

Mask, the OP is getting replies from people from interstate, how is that their fault? They weren't having a dig, just asking a question that in all honesty has gone completely off topic. I think we all know the general answer is that people don't read things. We've set travel plans on here before with specific dates and got messages asking what we doing tonight when we were in town in a fortnight. It's not limited to guys, couples are just as bad at it.

Personally, if I “express interest” in a date, I at least make sure it’s geographically realistic, but am almost never certain if I can make it as I have my young daughter most weekends and, I guess I like to test the water to see if I have any chance at being invited before I interrupt another family member’s life to babysit, all the while trying to be discreet. I haven’t heard back from anyone yet anyway so I guess this doesn’t really apply to me?!?!

Hi Spicykale. I understand, what was mentioned by the op extremely well and i also agree with them and your self. As you mentioned people don't tend to read, as on propose i put as my last line, "I am not saying that is the case with you." To prove a point. Sometimes we (as all of us) miss important information. OP. I am really sorry for those that couse you trouble. I do hope you find a really good one that perfect suite you to compensate all the trouble. (Because is some of us out there)

Mask, yes completely agree with you on that one. It's really easy to glaze over points, especially on the forums when a lot of us have strong opinions on certain topics😊 I completely glazed over that last line, sorry😉 What I was sort of getting at was that the first two things I'd be looking at on date finder, is the actual date and location. If I'm not mistaken you actually need to change your settings to another state to see people interstate anyway🤷♂️

It’s because guys window shop. They look at photos and don’t bother reading. They’re simple and lazy and just try to engage in sexting for immediate satisfaction without any consideration that they are wasting your time.

It sounds ridiculous that guys would do that, but no different to arranging to meet and then - Nothing. It appears a lot of people actually get off on the on line side behind their PC with no intention of following up.

I’d love to give you a unbiased view but clearly as a guy I cant.. like anything, a little separation of the wheat from the chaff in a couple of emails is worth it.. When I get replies from couples that I’d like to meet, most comment that its nice to get a response with a little thought that isn’t a one liner.. Clearly, if a guy, couple or woman cant be bothered to put any effort in to the initial communication then its probably not going to get much better from there…
