Groundhog day

Been pretty passive on the forums lately.And to be honest I think it is because I am starting to find it repetitive.It is a great tool - but in this context, there is a limit to how much people want to push what is being talked about.The odd topic sparks my interest. But those topics are rare, and usually written by the same one, two or maybe three individuals. And Chev.And like an old Simpsons re-run that you have seen 66 billion times before - the same topics, questions, answers and ideas start to get boring. My interest in sex remains stronger than ever. And I still generally think that everyone that I have met from the forums have been great and interesting people.But I am getting bored.Is this just me?Is it just the circle of RHP. As old users get bored of the same topics, new users replace them?Anyway Peace out guys :) slickz

It goes through stages Slick. There are times when we have had really funny & very insightful posters who make the forum more interesting. I have also found that not many people are posting lately either so it's the same people, me included, who are become repetitive as well. And we are pulled up if we are too argumentative so that puts a curb on my tongues anyway. Lol. ;-) We need new blood. :)

Foxxy I totally get the addiction thing. Sometimes I close my profile for months at a time and then I'll get bored and think "let's see what's happening in the forums" and like a junkie I am hooked again. I'm feeling pretty bored with it too and I seem to be losing my sense of humour. Definitely time for a rest.

Well mr slickz......You (royal you) can tak about "sex" until the cows come home....... or you can take the Braille approach...... and put your hands all over the subject.Take your interest for sex out into the wider world beyond this asylum, rather than waiting for others to talk about it.DG

like home and away and a plethora of other crap, I had 15 years where the tv sat in the corner and didn't get turned on as I wasn't there. Now back on topic, what is the topic, can someone decipher please. It's like a knitting club slickz, same shit different day. Now for something interesting....

You may be surprised to learn that I didn't join RHP for the Forums . It's all about Focus . The Forums are merely a mild distraction from the real Goal . Sort of like reading magazines in a waiting room . As far as the Forums being repetitive , we haven't had a Thread on Penis Size for quite some time now ... I must admit I'm getting extremely bored by the forums these days too. Same old topics, same group of people talking amongst themselves. I seriously need to find another hobby! Lol ;-)

when the regulars get bored.. Usually when they run low on subject matter they comment on anything at all.. I guess its hard to just sit back and wait until something new comes along because alot of the time the subjects are the same as last week, , just worded differently.Someone said we need new blood.. ? Its my belief new blood is coming through all the time . The few who do venture into the forums could no doubt be lil intimidated by some of the rants. I think its time to take more notice instead just pushing our own points of view... After all. forums are for everyone, not just the few...
