How long is your recovery? I had surgery Monday 29th and I was put completely under, no sexy banter dammit lol. Not til recovery when I spoke to a lovely young lady in morphine gibberish, she smiled so I assume she thought I was ok for a guy with a hole in my guts lol. Asked the doc to help me chaperone her back to her room, (she wasn't that young maybe 19) all I got from him was a firm, that's enough Daniel lmao

to hear the op went as well as you hoped. You must have been seen as a bit of a risk immediately post op, to be sent to ICU. I love seeing all the eager puppies on morning rounds as I get ready to go home. The way the young uns come at talking to pts is qute amusing to watchThey sometimes need a translator just to get through their own acronyms. I had an unusual night in ED the night before last, maybe I was hallucinating or delusionalbecause I had a distinct impression that one of the ED registrars flirting with me... Not that I mind but I am not even close to being in this womans class.... literally because I am pretty sure I had left high school before she even started school. Thinking back.. though I am quite sure it happened, maybe I am either miss reading the situation and am putting too much emphasis on a couple of chats we had during the night... Or I am a sadly delusional old man with a chance to starting a new club for stalkers.... Mike

Welcome back Lu. Wishing you a speedy recovery – with your happy positive attitude I’m sure you will be 100% again sooner rather than later. I soon have to go to hospital for the first time and will think of your story and try to have a laugh too and try to keep my nerves at bay. Keep resting, take care.Timid

sorry to hear that you needed to have such an operationbut glad to hear that it went well and you are on your way to a super woman recoveryi dont wish anyone to be in hospital, because personally i believe many of the problems we go there for could already have been solved by nowbut thats something for another discussion anywaybut i can relate, not for the knee surgery, but years in hospital when younger for asthma & all sorts of other things after theni did however completely dislocated my right elbow during tennis training when i was 16/17 and its only now since november last year that i have gotten myself back on to centre court again for years of great tennis aheadim certainly not tooting my own horn here, just trying to relate to the topic hereanyhoo, i hope you have a good list of all the things you want to go running off to do as soon as you are back to 100% capacity :)in the meantime, accept my many well wishes, ill drink some tea to that *pinky up*

It cuts down on the glare , and makes you feel cool. Plus if you're a little nervous no one can tell. With all Of My experiences with Surgery .They're formost concern is you and your welbeing .They are skilled People who want the best all round result. Oh! good Luck! with your recovery Hun .The thing about your Fantasy. Morphine induced or not is they seem very real makes you feel good. So sure you did chat her up ,made her smile and as always being the ultimate Gentleman, wanting to escort her back to her room Well Done Hun! :)x Mike oh! you poor Luv what were you doing in ED nothing better to do that time. Hun therre's no such thing as being in someones class that you rtestrict yourself.. You're a very affable guy I've no doubt she did have a twinkle in her eye spending time with you >if you feel this is so don't question it enjoy the feeling and the Ego schmoozehe!he! :)x As to ICU because of certain conditions that don't define me and are under control .I still and always will have My Zest for Life:)They always take precautions 1 reason I had a spninal tap not go deep into a Haze.. The fun thing was, whilst I was joking with the Women ICU staff checking my obs. My anaethetist (sorry bad spelling )from my 1st knee Op came up to say hi! he certainly remembered me and seemed genuinely glad to see me.It was Mutual and we flirted in a fun way for a few minutes, He was Yum!! he!he! it was Old home week because the ICU ladies knew me from before too reason we were having a joke:) Perthtacular Thanks for sharing your story Hun. That's true many can be solved but when we require assistance I can't think of a better Place from my experiences anyway Although I do try to increase My Alternative therapies where Possible there's a lot to be said for combining the 2.. I'm sorry you had a rough start with Asthma, dislocated shoulder etc. But I know from these inconveniences and set backs you have acquired Inner Strength and Compassion for others, an Appreciation of your Life. A pretty good trade off in my book..:)x

One crushed, another out of place (all the time). my back will go out on command.fractured scapula (second hardest bone in the body to break).went in for a hernia a little over a year ago, got out of surgery, and found out i was the proud owner of TWO hernias, one they had to cut me open as opposed to the mesh inserts.A little known FACT that you ladies can NEVER relate to:Your testicles swell up to the size of GRAPEFRUITS.And it hurts worse than it sounds.Couldnt even fit them in to the toilet seat:( Too much information?:)If you still have any good drugs (endone?) PLZ send some my way:)hope you recover soon

My !My! My! you are in a bad way aren't you he!he! you Poor thing :) I believe Pain Patches are good saves affecting your kidneys etc as much ..Those electronic hand held massages are too as they send a Pulse through the affected area..My sincere hope is that you do recover as much as you can and have a quality of Life Cheers Lu :)
