Grant one wish

December 16 2010

If you could grant one wish over the christmas period that could have a profound effect on someone's life what would it be? Let's dig deep as I know that some regulars have some inspiring reasons to grant a wish so lets not just waste on "world peace' or the ex's dick falls off. I would love to be able to walk into a childrens hospital ward, simply walk pat each bed and they be cured of their ailments. There is nothing more depressing than seeing sick or terminally ill kids.

I wish all the Mummies and Daddies out there can be alcohol and drug free and would be trully granted the wisdom to see and understand the iimmediate and long term effects of thier behaviour on thier kids.

That all puppies & kittens given this Christmas be loved & cherished & not be dumped off at the RSPCA once the cuteness wears off.

id wish for tolerance, too many people judge and are judged.i saw a fb status that said fuck off boat people....... why do we forget so quickly where we came from?why do we think these people are freeloaders, running away from nirvana????its the people who are so anti immigration that will expect so much when our country turns to shit.how is it people forget that european settlers have only been here for a fraction of the time our indigenous people have??i am sick of the lack of tolerance.oh and id also wish for no double standards, just for a day id like to go shopping in whatever i choose to wear and not be stared at. im this close to getting a tshirt made up say "yes i have tits, but do you see me staring at your dick?"ahhhh vent done

One wish is not enough to do what has to be done....Maybe forget about the wishes and start doing what you can for those worse off.......But if I had a wish...There are some amazing women (and men) on this forum that don't seem to get the love they deserve ... lets hope they find it in 2011. (especially you trishy)Mr. SR.

...that no one would live in fear of tomorrow. | ...that no one knew famine, poverty or ignorance. | ...that everyone woke up knowing that they belonged somewhere. | ...that the sounds of children crying were never heard again. | ...and that I had enough money to make all of these things happen always for everyone.

sorry to hijack Orbitron...but i just needed to share this with everyone i was in the parking lot today chatting to a lady i didnt know when we heard a noise behind us...we both turned to see a car backing into a pram the woman next to me yelled out while i stretched for the pram the woman in the car kept backing out...the pram by now was teetering on 2 wheels about to fall as i grabbed it and pushed it away.....the woman beside me yelled again and banged on the back of the car the car finally stopped and a young woman hopped out with tears rolling down her face screaming "what have i done" the woman next to me grabbed her in a big hug telling her it was ok the baby was fine....i was on my knee's talking to the liitle girl about 3 months in the pram, she was gorgeous...big smiles and all happy her poor mother was hysterical couldnt stop crying...took her a good 10 mins to calm down thankfully the baby was alright but things could have been so much worse i do have a wish....please everyone be safe and think before you do anything everything you do has consequences for everyone you know and love take care, stay safe and have a merry christmas roxxy xxx

My one wish would be for no one to feel pain at all this xmas whether it be physical or mental. Many children have to deal with mental and physical pain on a daily basis and have done nothing in their lives to deserve that.Children that are abused are the innocent victoms of twisted and warped minds and want only to experience unconditional love and understanding. So watch your children sleep on xmas eve and no that they are safe and tell them that you love them and show them with warmth and love. Many children this xmas will be facing the toughest battle of trying to fight leaukaemia or brain tumours and will suffer immense pain and turmoil so say a little prayer so they can have at least one day when they feel no pain and can just be children and laugh and play.I meet many children who havent asked for these diseases but show such strength and humility in their journey that it humbles me when they include me in their lives and they share there selflessness with me .....

Adding on to the wish list ..... that we all realise and tell the people in our lives what they mean to us -so if you have someone that means something to you tell them it may be the one thing in the world they need to hear.... and the tomorrow you thought was yours may never come to tell them. Not just at christmas but every day... I know I will be from here on in.....
