Goodbye messages to 2020

December 13 2020

Only nineteen more sleeps and 2020 will be well over. While it has been a difficult and challenging year for me, I am still thankful to its presence, because it has brought out the strongest survivor in me! I have lost 8kg alone this year; found a new job just in time for the festive season to kick in; have met and helped (using my own experience) a random person found peace in her grief and sorrow for the lost of her parent; and finally met someone with similar interests and wants to kick start a new chapter of adventures together in 2021. So, to farewell 2020 off, I would like to say to it: "thank you for a badass year, 2020, no doubt you are a tough challenger, but mate, I stand firmly and strongly before you! To my fellow RHP'ers, what would you say to 2020 before it vanishes out the door for good?

Good riddance ' l never ever had a year 2020 before and l hope l never have one again. Too many negative stories to relive so ill stick with good riddance and look forward to 2021 as a healing year...

Good on you for staying positive about next year. 2020 was a write off in many ways. However a lot of good came about because of it too. A lot of people opened up this year about mental health issues who may have kept suffering in silence.
