I really think it depends on the tatt and on the person with the tatt.... They really suit some people, and other people should maybe have thought twice... Alot of people seem to rush in to it I think and just get something, so they have one. Not that I think every tattoo needs to have some deep seated meaning though, sometimes you just want that picture on you...They can definately have serious sex appeal though... both on men and women. I have afew tatts myself, all of which I love, but sometimes you see someone walking down the street with tatts and think " Fuck I hope mine don't look that shitty..." Even though I've gotten most of mine as a 'mature' adult, I wonder sometimes if there will be a point in my life where i regret any of them? Till then I guess, if the shoe fits...

i don't care either way, it isn't a turn on or a turn off for me. seems to me like having tattoo's is completely normal nowadays

How can there be one answer to that? I mean if it was universally hot, everyone would have them. And if they were universally ugly, only ugly people would have them.

In my opinion women with ink rock my socks off...dont care where they are....what they are...or how many but they are a piece of who they are as a person and that is what makes them sexy!!!!!

I think they are hot but i do prefer to see some kind of theme or flow to it all. I would prefer to see a full sleeve on a girl thats all flowing and themed than heaps of random tatts in random spots. But its not a deal breaker for me. Just a thing i like when looking at art work which is what i consider tatts to be. It shows a persons personality.My tatts are all done to reflect me and have a theme about them.

I agree with whyterabbit, it depends. My partner has 3 and I love them, I enjoy that I am so used to them but sometimes I notice them again and they come as a real surprise to me, something to be enjoyed. There is a story to each of them and they are part of her and her past. Personally, I dislike the random dragon/dolphin/butterfly on the breast type tat, I love breasts, I enjoy breasts and find that something so 'impersonal' and to be honest, quite ugly, turns me off. That said, I realise that I am being quite judgemental and assuming that women with these have just randomly chosen a design that looked good one slightly drunken evening in Kings Cross. So maybe there's the truth, if the tat says something about the woman, or is part of her story, then I find it exciting and I want to know more, want to know the story. I must say that having spent more hours than I care to admit browsing through profiles on here, I am definitely in the pro camp.

Obviously, we are fans! Being fairly heavily tattooed ourselves, we LOVE a girl in ink! ;-) I think tattoos are so freakin' sexy... I like to explore a tattooed persons body - I like to know the stories behind them... I like to inspect the work... Although, I must say - to me, if you have a few little tattoos, you may as well have none. I like to see full sleeves, half sleeves, leg pieces, torso pieces, back pieces... Quoting 'we_are_no_angels'yes, agree wholehartedly with you NBW... tatts and dreadlocks... Ahh... I miss my dreads so much! Have been considering getting them back - I felt like this beautiful goddess when I had them. (MRS)

How bout i ask the question...lol....dont believe in the label tramp stamp...think that is given by women that dont have tatts themselves and dont realise how sexy it is to have a bit of atrwork to look at while the enjoyment is being....well...enjoyed!!!!!!

In my opinion tattoos on a woman needs to be tastefull. If they are just plasterd with average tattoos then no thanks, a nice tat on the shoulder blade or lower back oh did I mention lower back" mmmmm yeah", or privately on the tit or inner thigh/ pubic area can be nice. But also the full back and wrap arround can be very sexy too, as long as it is tastefull

I actually met a girl with a sleeve the other day. Never been into them before but combined with her pure sex personality it was a winning combo. It does look kinda trashy on some girls. I draw the line at dragons and flaming skulls...But in closing... I'm all for it!

I am all about the body art & am continually building on my own & seem drawn to admiring others. Im talking those people who put energy into designing & contributing to the art ~ not so much picking a # ~ but woteva does it for too Xx Just like Miss gorgeous Inkerbella said its a commitment & one that becomes & expresses who u are & in this crazy consumer driven world we live in ~ why shouldn't we market/present ourselves in one of the truly unique ways thru body art...?

A girl with tats is sexy, sexy, sexy. Weather it be a small piece on an ankle, lower back, shoulder blade or a sleeve or back piece, doesnt matter. If it was done by a decent artist, has good colour and or shading and flows well I cant see a problem. It floats my boat for sure. Had a girlfriend with fairies and angel dust swirls tattooed on her bum cheek, looked amazing and was a very big turn on

We don't mind tattoos on ladies, we look at their personality first and foremost, though I guess some tatts can say something about a person's personality, good and bad! Some tatts could make us think twice but generally we are fine with them. Oh and Inkerbella we looked at your profile, but we only wanted to see your tatts! Honest!

like everything else we do to our bodies, we have to consider what they'll look like when we are 40 or 50 or even older.....and what happens if we gain/lose weight. whats hot at 25 can quite often be a regret by the time we are 40....

Guess that about says it all...it's about the person. My own tastes in are are very eclectic...and always as subjective as who I find interesting. Maybe the tattoos are just like the colour of a flower...or the season in which it blooms.

I have both. I have a dragon on the back of my neck, for strength and luck (as a Year of the Dragon this applies strongly to who I am) and after much deliberation I ended up with a Phoenix across my cleavage (have a look at eastern mythology if you want to understand why). Both of these tattoos had months of planning go into the design, placing and reasoning. They are a part of ME and to hell with anyone who doesn't like them :P They are placed where I can display them or cover them, dependent on mood and appropriateness. And they get a helluva lot more sunlight than not! Don't like 'em? Don't look! :P Obviously I approve of ink on others ;)
