Getting old. Young guys - you're gonna get old!

I've been pondering recently. I'm the wrong side of 60, but I still adore sex. My bits work just fine, but other bits, well not so much. I'm (reasonably) sure there are other guys on the site as old as me, but I haven't come across any. Why would I? I'm talking about me, and maybe to other guys. If it hasn't occurred to you yet, there's an enormous imbalance on sites like this. Quite apart from the imbalance between the sexes, the other imbalance is this. Many older women prefer younger guys. Not many younger women prefer older guys. Just the way it is. Not complaining. Carrying some "baggage" doesn't help, but I won't ditch it. The days when I could fuck for hours are way past. But along the way, I've tried to pay attention to what pleases and what doesn't. Tried to hone my skills. Because when the stallion stuff is gone, that's all you've got guys, skills and personality. And for me, personality and the way I think about women has become paramount. It's everything, even though it might be just for one night, I want my partner to think "that was awesome'. And it won't have been "awesome" because of the pounding and the fucking and the screaming. It will be the other stuff, which I yearn to bring to the table. I've never been afraid to ask and to learn. The understanding, the sensitivity, the respect, the sheer enjoyment of sharing some erotic time with another human being. The laughing, the cuddling, the simple joy, the satisfaction of bringing deep pleasure to someone else. And if it doesn't work for me? That's ok, PROVIDED my partner still walks away satisfied. Like me, one day your hands will hurt, your shoulders will be buggered, your back will ache. But I aim to make any get together the best it can possibly be

Must say, I too adore a woman regardless of age. I enjoy intelligence and sexual spontaneity (meander comes to mind). The best part of getting older is the people you tend to share with are normally on the same wave length. If you seek sex, they come straight to you and say it Being a single guy over 40 I do find RHP a bit of a time waste though no matter what you seek. You might be an old bastard and I might be an ugly bastard but as you say, the key is not to be a selfish bastard! Unfortunately your post here will probably fall on deaf ears because those who haven’t worked it out yet probably never will and they probably couldn’t be bothered reading your lengthy post either. Is looming on the horizon and it doesn’t bother me, I learnt a while ago not to be ruled by my cock so to find it not as demanding as it used to is no shock. I’m totally ok with it.
