What? I dont believe it. People really don't eat mango? I haven't met a fruit I didn't want to eat. Living in Hurstville I have to say we get some pretty bizarre things hanging in shopfront windows compared to ... umm.. Dubbo... Take Durian for example... I mean that stuff tastes a little like I imagine a solid block of soggy snot would taste like... "the smell evokes reactions from deep appreciation to intense disgust, and has been described variously as almonds, rotten onions, turpentine and gym socks" (google) . ... but I have eaten a whole one on my own.... all on my own.. lmfao... quite an interesting texture to it... I thought... something like custard apple.I love summer fruits best... all that juicy stuff smearing down my jowels... the delicate stone fruit are a prize... figs.. exquisite.... and how can you not enjoy lychees?... And all of them are great fun with a naked partner.Hey Tassie..... how are you with vegetables then? do you fancy a sweet lebanese cucumber? HugsStalky

I'm not Fruitest ! I love all fruit...little pieces chopped up and placed in a clean bowl. I start by sniffing then I follow with a deep smell. Mmmm... gets me in the mood. Then I plunge straight it, grabbing a mixture of fruits all at once. Once I start I want more and more. My appetite doesn't stop. Sometimes I like whipped cream on top. Ohhh that is extra yummy. Whipped cream and the fruit juice dribbling down my chin. Mmm now I'm horny ! xx Saturn

All fruit, all day long. Like Stalky, I'm sure I'm yet to meet a fruit I didn't want to eat! Fruit on my breakfast...strawberries, blueberries, banana. Bred into me I think.. Fruit in smoothies...Mango, banana, strawberries, I use packet frozen berries alot. Good way to 'sneak' fruit to the lil one too..! Fruit Juice in the juicer...Apples, oranges, pineapple, grapes, pears...mixed with a 'fresh' bunch of silverbeet! Fruit in cock/mocktails....MMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Fruit and cheese...figs, grapes and strawberries with a variety of yummy cheeses I could eat for every meal. I often eat a block of Brie cheese, with a bunch of grapes and some yummy fig or spicy pear paste with it, for a 'snack' with a drinkeepoo...YUM! Fruit and ice-cream...Fresh mango with a good quailty vanilla ice cream...Or Strawberries'n'ice-cream with icing sugar, naughty. Cold fruit when it's hot Mmmm...juicy 'chilled' stonefruit, watermelon or summer berries..ohhhh yeaaahh..SLluurp! Hot fruit when it's cold Mmmm...LOVE apple pie or baked pears with custard. Or...Everyones favourite, my 'Pear Pizza', YUM!!! Can't stand...Dried fruit. Ewwww....don't be fooled, it's no good for you (most of them!). People trying to lose weight often seem to think they are doing the right thing by snacking on dried fruit. Little do they know they are snacking on what is almost pure sugar...The EMENY. Just quickly...I've just lost 40 kg's, and have learnt alot about nutrition. Eating shiteloads of fruit is sometimes NOT the right thing to do in some cases. It can be doing more harm than good! Talk to a nutrtionist if you're having troubles with weightloss or upset tummy troubles, bloating, lack of energy etc etc. :)

I love mangos - the soft squishy texture, the way you have to suck all the juice before it starts to slowly drip down your chin. When I finish a mango my face is usually all covered in juices. Mmmmmm xxMeeks

Love fresh fruit. Love the fact that with increased technology, aka air travel I can get cherries form the USA out of season and mangoes form Mexico also out of season. I love :- cherries, blackberries, raspberries, bananas, oranges, watermelon, grapes, rockmelon, pineapples, feijoas, passionfruit, kiwifruit, peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, mangoes, rhubarb, grapefruit and oranges. I am sure that there are more that I have momuntarily forgotten like dates and figs. I dont like apples very much. I have plastic containers iin the fridge with cut up selections of fresh fruit for the kids to snack on at will. When we have athletics carnaval and a cake stall at the school. We make fresh fruit skewers and the kids will buy them before they even think about buying a cupcake in house colours. Frozen bananas put through the food processor with a tablespoon of carab powder.....like yummy chocolate soft serve icecream. Frozen raspberries in the blender with caster sugar......just soooo good. Blackberry season, blackberry smoothies and blackberry and apple pie

I thought this thread was going to go in a different direction too. I wonder what that says about me... haha I know mangoes are pretty devisive- people generally either love 'em or hate 'em. Well I still love 'em even after mango picking two summers in a row. When they're picked mostly green (as they need to be to get to the markets ripe) they shoot sap out of the stalk. You have to point it towards the ground quicksmart. Some of them dribble and ooze, like a guy having a mediocre orgasm, but most of them shoot a hardcore stream like no guy can. The sap is acidic. I got burns across my stomach that blistered from leaning against the trailer. After 2 and a bit weeks the skin on my hands went dark brown and started to peel - but I think that was more from the neautralising solution we washed them in to get rid of the sap. Just as nasty only on the other side of the pH scale. (Don't worry, ladies. This was years ago. The hands are silky smooth and the scars from my stomach have disappeared. Heh.) So next time you're tasting some delicious mango, spare a thought for the poor bugger who had to pick it! And if you don't like mangoes, there's a good reason to add to your list for not doing so...

Why do some prefer hairy fruits to smooth skinned ones? How sensual a banana feels when it fills your mouth with its sweet pulp and yet some dislike the mere smell of it. I guess that's just how people are. We all have our preferences.

I love fresh fruits of all kinds...and have been known to have a bit of "fun with fruit". Hiding and finding frozen blueberries is on one of the lists of my favourites...but damn they can be a lot of work. Efficiency and fun...chuck these all in a big blender with some ices and a little fresh creame ... | Pineapple, cherries, strawberries, bananas, watermelon, blueberries, peaches, pears and mangoes. Blend just until thick and still chunky...too I assumed we would remove the pits, right? Now then...find an cooperative and attractive sous chef, ask her to undress and help "serve"? | Nothing beats a fresh frappe.

yes its time to squash 'fruitism', to berry the hatchet so to speak, and blend all of our juices to produce something better than any single element on its own. if fruitism is allowed to flourish, the day will come when blackberries wont be safe to walk the streets unless they're in pears. i for one am always happy to share some of my cream in the interest of creating a better world.

donna_brett, i think u have the final ingredients that we need for our fruit/cream smoothie. we wont put in any apples or oranges if u dont like them, but i dont think we'll need them anyway. we've already got plenty of bananas and ripe, juicy plums, that ass looks like a real peach, and im sure u have some nice tasty melons. sweetened to taste with honey from ur pot, (in place of sugar), and finishing off with a few healthy dollops of cream. mmm...just brilliant.

Grew up surrounded by orchards in the Perth hills. All year round there was something to pinch. Mum had a hard time forcing us to eat fruit at home. We had to eat the hole thing, but sneaking into an orchard and only eating the best sweetest parts, leaving a trail of half eaten fruit in our wake, mmm was so nice and naughty. My parent knew we did it but they never told us off, we where just not allowed to take any home. My parents are ex army fitness freaks, guess they thought, if we where to steal, at least its healthy. We would stuff our selves till our bellies bulged or the farmer came after us shaking his fist, us running for the bush teeshirts full, laughing with excitement. We knew when and where the best picking where.Peaches are my favorite, the best grove up high on the hill with plenty of sunlight, we had to get in before the harvest, so got very adept at spotting the early ripe ones. A giant old fig was a hide out many a summers day, from the top we could see the entire valley, munching on sweet figs we could spot the farmers working, and plan our raids. We would spot our opportunity, monkey down the tree, dash across several orchards, expertly pluck the bounty. Returning to our hide out pumped with adrenaline, to feast some more.My best fruit moment was after a very long push bike ride around 120km, on my way back to home I deiced to pop into my parents house to get a cool drink and something to eat. It was around 38-40c, the sun beating down. They where not home, so starving for energy I grabbed a passion-fruit. Their dark and get very hot in the noon day sun. Reluctantly I bit open the first one and sucked out the contents. Oh my god... Nothing sweet had ever tasted better then hot passion-fruit, 15min and there where no ripe ones left, had around 30 even the ones just turning I had sucked and scraped dry. Left a note, sorry about the passion-fruit but was hungry.
