  For me I associate smells with men I know. If I liked them a lot the smell brings back good memories. If I found them creepy or didn't like them the smell brings back bad memories which makes the smell unattractive. There is a certain scent that I associate with creepy uber drivers. I think it may be called silver scent but I'm not 100% sure. I am struggling now because a colleague wears this to work and he's quite a nice man. Black Rexona reminds me of my first ever boyfriend. CK eternity of my second. All happy, sexy memories.

  Scents are strange beasts and smell completely different on different people! Yves St Laurent Beauty is Mrs favourite on me, Issey Miyake is an instant hard on in a bottle for me on her. There’s a random perfume older ladies my mums age use that makes me want to gag, I’m evidently the only one it has this affect on…. as I said, completely different to different people and that’s not taking into consideration memories of a scent!

  Our sense of smell is directly linked to the olfactory bulb so it triggers memories without any conscious thoughts.

  Problem with colognes and perfumes is that they react differently on the individuals skin…. At least that’s been my experience….

  Male here writing. Was years ago. Establishment Bar (yeah, that place) in Sydney CBD. Quick eye contact. Then again, so I go to say hello... She replies (European accent): "Oh yes. Are you wearing Issay Miyake?" Sex that night. Couldn't have been my charm. Had to have been the cologne. Thank you Mr. Miyake ;)

  Love the smell of Tom Ford on a man and yes it is an absolute turn on for me. It's masculine and makes me wet when I smell it. Yummy
