Flight Test

November 18 2012

A simple topic - if you had to do a 20 hour flight, who would you like to sit next to. I know a lot of people will turn this into a mile high club thing lol...or say who they wouldn't like to sit next to like a certain family member lol.   Someone that would be interesting to listen to....a specialist in a particular field etc.   I was thinking sport but i'll throw up Sir David Attenborough. He has done so much in the education of animals and the environment, he would have some good stories and facts.

Someone who actually has the brain capacity to talk about the subjects without automatically spouting off uneducated blathering about why they think a certain religion is stupid, or why this politician is an idiot. Actual intelligent discussion, and if u r on opposite ends of the religious/ political spectrum, shake hands and agree to disagree. Would love to sit between a renowned evolutionist who has flipped to creationism, and another one who is still in the 'we all came from monkeys' camp. I personally would believe we came from space aliens first. Too much evidence of design. The movie prometheus comes to mind. Of course in today's world if you even speak about religion on a plane or might be openly reading a Bible or Koran, people are whispering to the stewardess. So much for freedom. I would like to sit down next to Stephen hawking, and cover his eyes so he can't talk through his computer......

A cute, funny and flirty comedian, there are too many to name, but as a 20 hour flights sux arse, that would be a nice way to pass the time Or an inappropriate rough around the edges muso, that is equally as funny due to bad behaviour, to get rip roaring drunk with and become a public nusance ahahahaha Turn the plane into a party (his band members join in and we can all do a movie montage thingo, followed by a mass orgry! Have i gones to far now...?)?

Id love to sit next to eminem. His lyrics are so messed up and I'd love to see his crazy side, then get him chatting about his daughter. Just his life story, growing up in a notorious and predominantly bleach area in Detroit. Of failing that, the worlds number 1 criminologist. Could learn so much

So the Dalai Lama was predictable well bugger him then (errr not literally) and I will switch to James Nachtwey.I was honoured to hear him at a recent conference and I have never experienced anything more powerful in my life.I came out wanting to re-examine every aspect of my life ,make it less insignificant, throw away what I currently shoot, jump on a plane, make a difference and bring awareness to the world by exposing evil and injustice.BTW, I just spent the last 15 minutes laughing so hard watching Katy Brand - hysterical, thank you Quoting 'Enigmaoflove' Quoting 'MissPoppins'We are having a stop over after 10 hours The Dalai Lama for the first 10 hours for Wisdom and InspirationthenEllen Degeneres for the last 10 hours for fun and gigglesEllen is a pretty good choice. Hmm have done the religion one Sydney to LA seated between a Methodist Priest and a Rabbi The Rabbi was the better conversational.Done the author thing New York to Sydney and no I still haven't bought any of her books.Alone - Work Charter flight Sydney to Abu Dabi the ability to stretch out across 5 seats and have a sleep is highly recommended especially if you are over 6 foot. But think would enjoy a flight sitting next to Alice Cooper - The stories would be entertaining if nothing else.

If someone were to read it to me, I could finally find out what happened... (I did have a 28 hour flight recently, and would have loved to have someone read to me. As it worked out, reading "50 shades" was more effective than that emergency Stillnox I brought.)

I have ever listened to and read is Deepak Chopra. The man is a legend and his knowledges covers so many fields including healing, spirituality, success....   I could listen to him talk for more than 20hrs!   Second - Oprah Winfrey....that lady had an amazing life from rags to riches, fighting so many personal demons to achieve her success and then to reach out and help others!   Third would be Billy Connolly....damn that would be a fun flight!   SFxx
