I have to say that Kings Beach at Byron Bay really is beautiful but get there early for a parking spot because it's a long way back down the hill to the caravan park. The surf has a beach break that can get nasty and it is not patrolled. Find a shady spot if you are there all day. Gay guys seem to cruise in the bushes up the back. There's nothing else to know! You turn off to the right up a dirt track just before the gates to Broken Head holiday park and park in the carpark at the top of the hill, then walk through a rainforest to the Beach. There are some beautiful shady trees overhanging the beach. Great spot to spend the day. Hugs Stalky

Hey, we were thinking of taking a trip out to byron bay belongil/tyagarah beach area on the weekend of the 20th... Never been to a nude beach either, but I hear that area is nice. Maybe we'll see you there!

We go to a nude beach nearly every weekend bout 35 min south of Coffs Harbour....why travel all the way to Byron guys... Its just like any other beach except you are more relaxed and enjoy the freedom of nature more....ENJOY....

Which beach is that exactly? Last month I travelled from Sydney to Byron Bay and back... there is a good nudist beach every 200km all the way up the NSW coast from Sydney.. lol.... I rode my motorbike 200km every day and then pitched a tent for the night at the nearest nudist beach.... hehe. You don't use Little Digger's Beach at Coffs? It's a very pretty beach and quite private. Hugs Stalky

Thanks for all the comments. We know there are some local nude beaches but would rather not go to them as we don't want to see anyone we know! I've heard that Kings Beach is a gay hangout and that Belongil is more for everyone so we were planning on going there. Hmmmm, not sure about Byron now though after reading Capital's comments! Anyone been to North Smoky Cape beach? There's a lovely B&B at the lighthouse. Maybe that's a better option.

Hi there, great topic. We oftenly frequent the local nude beach and alwasy find there will be a bunch of old guys that are there just for a perv (It is going to happen) we have nick named our local group the Meerkats as they hide in bushes and sand dunes and you see their grey and bald heads pop up scouting around for a target. Some where cock rings to the beach?? I do not know what that has to do with being naked at a beach unless it is just for show? But as long as you are aware that there will be old pervs that are very over the top, ie sit right next to you to have a closer look. Also most nude beaches are well known BEATS which is where gay and bi-sexual guys openly go looking for sex in bushes and dunes so there will always be the older (60-70+yo's) waiting for their oportunity. Hope it helps. Enjoy being naked, it is fun and exciting but use sunscreen, we are both burnt so bad right now because we forgot it on sunday..

Fire n water don't be worried bout going to a local beach and meeting people you know...we have only seen 2 people we know and they both were nude and well there you are no problem...when you go a few times you will meet people and then as others say if you worried then safety in numbers if you are that worried you just sit near them.... As for the meerkats we have them at our beach too but most of them are the gay/bi guys and they keep their distance....but gee its funny watching them stick there heads up look around and the lie back down all day....jst part of the scene and well if you got the balls to take your gear off...why worry who sees you as long as they are just looking.....

hi guys there are a couple of nude beaches one is samurai beach at nelson bay or birdie beach on the central coast, either one are good hope to see you there one day
