First time at a club... how does that work?

I'm looking at heading to Mikes Place tonight (couples and single ladies night). I've never been before, and I'm not sure what to expect, how it all works, or what to wear?
I'm not as thin and hot as the models on the pictures either which makes me wonder if normal sized people are welcome... I'm not really into lingerie but would wear nice lacy knickers and a matching bra... If I had a nice dress on (but not a super tight number) would that be ok?
I'm also wondering if it is it ok to attend, talk to people, check it out and not engage in any sex if I'm not comfortable? I mean, I very likely will want to - but if I don't want to is that ok too?

We went to the couples club a few weeks ago for our first time and we met a couple prior to going and had dinner with them. We then all went to the club together which was way more comfortable than us just arriving on our own!

Its fine to show up Janet, have a chat and socialise upstairs, even carry onto downstairs and socialise or play or even just check out the play area, we have been quite a few times, and our first time we were a lot more comfortable than we expected to be.. Great hosts too.. go along and see for yourself and you will have a ball and fit right in.. :)

How did the night go for you, like did you go on your own, and end up participating in any sexual activities, or did you just use it to see what you thought before deciding to attend another meeting with the intension of participating.I am looking for a group that my very shy Partner and i can visit one night just to see what the scene is all about, without actually getting all our gear off and participating on the first night.I want to contact someone who runs a group/club before we attend so i can ask questions and get a feel of what to expect.Cheers
