Awww thankyou vampavibe and SnapDragon...... has been VERY wet to say the least...... a small reprieve today thus far..... quite a lot of flooding in some suburbs. Funny story....... hubby took kids and I for a drive to rubberneck all the floodwaters yesterday...... saw groups of people kayaking through a school oval and adults wakeboarding down the sides of a flooded skatepark lol Anyone else see the news about the herd of cattle washing up on Wodonga beach?? So sad. Hope your family fares well with all the rain we're sending down to the Ville Snap xx

It's nice to get a little sun today I must say. News was a couple days behind the worst of it but thanks for thinking of us. I went for a run yesterday thinking it would be quiet but in typical North Queensland fashion I saw most everyone I knew out and about 😂😂

I'm booked to fly back to Townsville on the weekend, hoping the weather doesn't delay that. Hope you're safe as well, and good luck if you're braving the shops!

Quoting 'Snap_Dragon' I'm booked to fly back to Townsville on the weekend, hoping the weather doesn't delay that. Hope you're safe as well, and good luck if you're braving the shops! which indicates Townsville's a disaster area so thinking of you Snap and hoping you'll be able to fly back up there on the weekend but it doesn't look good. Hope FFF and all in the Cairns area are ok.It's cooler here in Melb tonight but the weekend is due to heat up again......great variety here as usual, lol.On another weather related note, last night's lightning during the short storm we had here was popular with friends who are excellent photographers and have today posted some stunning photos on facebook.

Made it back safely, luckily where I live it's higher ground so isn't bad but it's pretty wild in a lot of areas. With a lot more rain predicted to be coming over the next couple of days. The dam is at over 200% capacity, highest it's ever been, they've already had to open the floodgates and will most likely have to open them even more. To think that only a week ago we had a dam at only 20% capacity and very strict water restrictions!

Just a little in the tanks Snap (about 10 mm in an hour) but lost power for the night, at least our older two had an excuse for not doing their year 11 homework on line.Have to tell you that bodysuit you are wearing in your main pic looks amazing. At first glance it looked like a belt full of bullets slung around your hips like something a Mexican bandit would wear .Not being smart- it really does look great on you. We're still getting some heavy showers here today. They're saying that this monsoon trough should finally move past us by the weekend, I bloody hope so. Even though I appreciate how lucky we are in my area that we didn't get any bad flooding, everything is still so damp and waterlogged and smelly and mouldy... MkyDutton - I hope it doesn't get too bad for you guys down there.
