  I dont make those exceptions on my profile but keep them in my head. That way I can perv(oops) I mean look at all the pics and profiles of those that send me a flirt or a message and then make my decision. I did actually begin by being cheeky to a much younger man who sent me a smart messgae. I just wanted to mess with his head a little but he is worth every smart arse remark.

  "I change the rules to match the game" I've made exceptions for age before and been delighted and disappointed fairly equally. I won't bend on the married men tho. I'm sure some of them are probably lovely people but I cut off private conversation right from the start so I can honestly say there has never been any temptation. There are truckloads of single guys here and on the other site i was on so i've seen no need to risk any potential drama.

  now you have me thinking LC i wont meet or play with a married man...but i will bend and chat to one i will bend on my age requirements...but only younger. i wont go older my profile says im looking for more than a one night stand...i will bend there hehe i wont bend on the woman thing...lol roxxy

  I would not bend on the married guy thing (oh except for Stalky - oh I see what you mean. LOL) . I wouldn't bend on the smoker thing particulary if I were to see anyone on a long term basis, and preferably would rather not have a smoker at all. . If I see a guy doesn't have a certain sexual interest that I have I usually skip them. But I would make that exception if they were hot of course. Pretty shallow really. Hahahaha . I also had a age thing no one over 40 then I chnage that to 45 at the oldest but then met someone who wasn't truthful and by the time I found out it was too late. Although 47 isn't that much older? Now I quite like the older distinguished gentleman. xxx Meeka

  My only exception has been an age thing...went a few years older with one gentleman (lieing sod I now know that he a few more years older still - too late now though lol) and many years younger with another (he at least was open and honest about his age)...however in both cases there was some extenuating circumstances involved... The smoking thing though its very very hard to make me compromise ont hat though like MrsS I have had some very considerate people try and mask the fact they smoke or even not smoke for a number of hours before I meet them...very respectful of my likes I think.   To be honest I am not at all surprised that despite what we say on our profiles most of us can find ourselves in a position where we are willing to be flexable on our preferances. | This will explain in part why we get messages from people who don't match up. The problem when you approach some who does not match up is that you have to be exceptional in the approach. I have a few chat friends on here one who I match up with very well responsed to a message to me by saying : | "Congratulations you have managed to send me three messages with out calling me babe/hun/sweetie/lov and you have made no mention of your cock..." | If some one is interesting and charming you always have a chance of getting your way, If you are rude and egotistically there is no chance. I flirt with lots of you in the forums as do many others. I don't care about matched preferance when I flirt in the forums. I think most people see flirting as harmless fun, to some degree though that can be seens as making exceptions. | I love getting to know people this way you really do get to understand who people are...it would be interesting to see if we would be more willing to meet people based on thier posts alone rather than their profiles. | There are people I have met who made exception for me (age/married) and it has always been good fun. I just make sure i make a real effort :) | LC

  And I am glad I did. My guy is older than I was looking for. It makes no difference as he looks young and plays young.

  i think your right there LC...it all depends on the delivery of that very first message....i talk to a lot of the people on the forums and i would class a handful of those as close friends...these people dont fit into my criteria but they are beautiful people that mean the world to me i went to Sydney's meet and greet last year and had a great time...thanks to the very people on the forums if i thought the person nice enough and worth it id have a coffee with them...it would be made very clear it was ONLY coffee but you never know where a good friend will come from and sometimes a good friend is needed a lot more than a root roxxy
