Well I must say... any person who has studied art, architecture and sculpture in the ancient world would have noticed very few erect shlongs, dongs or dickie bird. Maybe in tribal communities we see them erect... but certainly in European art flacid is de rigeur. Take Michelangelo's BEAUTIFUL David... what a fantastic thing... with a tiny "snuggly worm".
