Dom/Sub Where to start

April 25 2011

I have of late become very interested in the Dom Sub lifstyle, I find it exstemly sensual but i wasn't very sure on how to find a sub. Now, a lady friend of mine of some 15 yrs i was having a drink with a few days ago made it clear that she wished to be somone's "pet" i then said that that kind of relationship has interested me. So Bingo foirst problem out of the way now where do i procede to from here we have agreed to not meet again for a week or so and to both research our roles and tease via electronic contact (that should build up a bit of tension). So can any Doms out there please give me suggestions/advise on how to procede by the way my pet and i have never in the 15yrs had any sexual contact although now it is inevitable

From a beginner's perspective it's a fascinating thing, innit? Can be really daunting to know where to start tho. I was recently in this quandary myself, and begged the delightful Mistress T for some guidance, she gave me some great advice and pointed me to some books you can find as e-books thru amazon if you don't have time for them to be shipped to you.the ones i was looking at were mainly for FemDom but this one has been fantasticSM 101: A Realistic Introduction by Jay Wiseman - Make sure you get the updated second edition (as per Mistress T).Also FetLife has really active forums for all kinds of things so you can work out what specifically you are into and research each bit then kinda put it together in a blend that suits you. It is forum-based tho so bear in mind that it's more opinion than fact, but you can look thru page upon page of different fetishes/styles and work out what piques your interest the most.also a friend of mine who is a sex therapist pointed me to this site which is focussed more on the psychological than the whacking people so i found it quite good as i'm not naturally a sadist so i didn't really understand the 'whys' of whacking people: www . submissiveloving . com / bdsmcouple . htmlOne last thing, the sexual contact is not inevitable, it's a choice. If that's the way you both want to go it's cool but it can be whatever you want, no sex necessary if you so choose. Fortunately (although unfortunately if you just wanted a script to follow) there's no "set" way to dominate someone, it's quite personalised and unless someone tells you to do something unsafe, there's no 'wrong' way either. I'd love to know how it goes if you don't mind sharing your progress/discoveries with another newbie?xx Sarah

also a friend of mine who is a sex therapist pointed me to this site which is focussed more on the psychological than the whacking people so i found it quite good as i'm not naturally a sadist so i didn't really understand the 'whys' of whacking people:its all good.... when's the next one :)Stand on your feet and take charge :P. Depends what u mean by 'pet'. drag around on a leash type of pet, or a do whatever i say whatever i want type of pet.good communication is the key really i find, and role reversal ( a lil') can be good at times also.

I have a much greater appreciation for the whacking people now... One visit to Hellfire, one delicious specimen stetched out for flogging and suddenly it's all so much clearer to me :) xx Sarah
