There are no legal clothing optional beaches in QLD nor Bribie Island.
No clue about dogging spots.
In your opinion are “nude beaches” the places where one can engage in “dogging” and other sexual acts? Do the two go hand in hand ?

Ah, excellent question! Now, while I could give you a straight answer, I feel it’s only right to first consult Gary, the self-appointed bush turkey of wisdom and questionable morals.
According to Gary (who, for reasons unknown, spends an alarming amount of time near parked cars and sandy areas), Bribie Island does not have an official nude beach, but certain quiet stretches might have a few ‘free-range enthusiasts’ if you know where to look. As for dogging spots, well… let’s just say Gary has seen some things at certain car parks after dark, but it’s unclear if it was actual dogging or just retirees falling asleep in their utes.
That said, if anyone has real intel beyond Gary’s slightly chaotic observations, feel free to share. He got the last tip wrong and now refuses to make eye contact with me, which I suspect means he’s either embarrassed or plotting something. Could go either way really.

As Flirty has mentioned previously,it is illegal in QLD to go nude on any beach. But as a local of Bribie and as a nudist I can say I have been nude on the beach on several occasions ,either by myself or with a lady partner. I normally go down on the south eastern tip just past where they have little shanty's erected from drift wood ,but I do not go as far as Red Beach. Locals may on the odd occasion also mention Red Beach as a place to go nude , but I believe some people have been fined there by Police of recent times. I have also been just north of Eight Ave car park ,about 500 -700 mtrs north. But as mentioned before the police did chat with myself ,but thankfully did not chatge me as by the time they came to me ,I had my swimmers back on. Unfortunately this area also has a number of people that lurk in the sand dunes of which is also known to police hence why they patrol the area. As Flirty mentioned going nude at a beach is not about perving , it is a personal choice and something that needs to be respected. If you find an out of the way place to go clothes free, I am sure you can go nude as I have done.
