Does a particular accent pique your interest for no apparent reason?.

December 08 2012

Have you ever heard someones accent and wished they would continue talking just so that you could listen to the way their words linger in the air?, perhaps the softness of a Scarlet drawl or the way a some European languages flow like cool water?.

...but a harsh Ocker drawl is instant soft on material.

I am the Queen of aural, voices totally do it for me,I love phone sex for that very reason...aural sex mmmm oh yes...doesn't have to be an accent,I think it is the tone. You can tell a lot about a person from their voice, according to some studies it is thought that a man"s voice can tell you a lot about his testosterone levels for instance. I am a sucker for some Irish and French accents, also love an educated tone, and there is something about a deep Aussie drawl. Guess I am just an aural slut really.

But thankfully my accent is quite soft compared to my counterparts. Years of living overseas has soften it thank god but I'm still very aware of it perhaps being grating I'm a bit like Freya I too am a aural slut and when I look back at mr previous partners I have been attracted to foreign men with gorgeous brogues . I don't get Aussie men in any shape or form but especially aurally , you speak too fast !!!! Yep even when you say "Wanna root ?" :)

Lately I have been catching a lot of taxis and I have had drivers from different countries. The young Iranian who wanted to play guitar but never got around to it. Yummmmmmm My favourite barmaid is a french woman and I love listening to her talk. And Irish accents. I have to practice breathing to calm my pounding heart . . . .lolAnd I agree with Freya that tone of voice can say a lot about someone. I have had men get my juices flowing just by saying "hello, how are you?" yes accents, in fact voices can definitely get my juices jumping.

There seems to be a theme developing lol.   I think we are wired to find most accents attractive...but the Irish accent does something to me lol.   Also there are some European accents that are rather nice.     (Calling all Irish Riverdancers with pale skin wearing black short dresses....and you can be bouncing and skipping as well...the fitness and stamina lol )

Well.... there seems to be a tend to irish accents haha For me the irish accent does absolutely nothing!!! As soon as a guy opens his mouth and I hear an Irish accent I lose all sexual interest in him no matter how hot he is..... For me, the aussie accent does get me going :-) probably cos I didn't grow up here and the accent is still sort of "exotic" for me.... And I've got a thing for the Oxford English accent.

My Parents are Irish..that accent does nothing for me...I can never get over how flat and nasal we(australians ) sound when mixed in with another group of countrymen. When deep in the south of Ireland we were at a pub and a distanct sounding Aussie voice could be heard, I thought he must have been from outback Australia the way his voice sounded after being entrenched in this lilting sounding pub. Turned out he was from Baulkham Hills..a suburb in Sydney..Man we sound terrible lol.So basically any other accent is more favourable to my own..maybe except the kiwis..they sound just as bad as we do!!

I just mentioned this to someone yesterday....Irish and Scottish accents cause my brain to short circuit and all reason to fly out the window. I have shagged more than one Irishman (haven't had the pleasure of a Scotsman yet) simply because of the accent....if they'd been Australian I probably wouldn't have looked at them twice. Heaven help me when I eventually manage to get myself over to visit Ireland and Scotland, I'll probably end up in jail for flinging all my clothes off and screaming "TAKE ME!!!" to every male I talk to / hear.

"oh please sir, can I have some more". There is nothing sexier than an English accent...I don't care if they come from Essex, Oxford or speak Geordie....I just love it. My fav lover is from East London and when he calls me every morning I just lay there for 20 minutes in a stupor .... He can be talking about the weather or the moron infront of him who can't drive....I don't care, it still sounds like sex on legs to me, mmmmm.- Posted from rhpmobile

Going with the Irish theme, my housemate is from very Northern Ireland and has the most amazing Irish accent. She's very attractive too, makes for a devestating effect when we go to the pub. I enjoy watching the boys try hit on her. She doesn't suffer fools easily.
