When you went to McDonalds and your order was actually written down with pencil Brought your first LP Received a record player for a birthday present Your first one night stand was being invited back to watch Rage When porn was flicking through rosy magazines Doing the crossword in people magazine When you got your ears pierced and it was so cool Your first Kiss and thinking you might get pregnant from that!!!!! When you went to Luna Park and didn't spue after getting off the big dipper When you got paid in cash in an envelope You had a tea lady at work who use to rattle on through and always pleasant conversation When you agreed to have a date and actually meet on time at a certain spot like the clock at Central Railway Or, the Spot at Randwick Got on a bus and travelled to the movies with friends after sinking a long kneck and being totally pissed Going to a school dance after drinking passionpot in the summer sheds at Coogee Stumbling into dance and listening to the Angels, Am I ever gonna see your face again! When you actually ate at the dinner table Got in trouble for getting home late When your dog was free to roam the streets and chase cars Blue chalk eye shadow! Pink lipstick Tie dye t-shirts Your first holiday and lost virginity First school camp and excursion Puberty Puberty Blues!!! Big Wednesday Watching Countdown Seeing Marcia Hines being crowned Queen of Pop John English was in there somewhere Getting that wasted that you sat at a green light waiting for it to change Your first pair of high heels The first guy that noticed you, for me it was a butcher boy lol When people actually talked! I think that is enough!!!

When you went to work and typed on a typewriter with carbon paper. A couple of months ago a teenager girl in a store asked me what a typewriter was! Did I feel old - YES! Pusscat xx

Omg yes shoulder pads oh hot hot hot!!! I learned to type on the manual typewriter The dam sticky ribbon and tipex lol When the office phone actually rang and you talked on it No computers, no email A mobile phone was a brick Going to your first disco Seeing Saturday Night Fever at the movies omg who can forget seeing Friday the 13th at the movies When choc tops were massive Yes yes yes it's too funny, what is a typewriter oh heck....feeling terribly old although just happily remembering old stuff.

Your "friends" were actually people that you played with and actually knew in person? When you used to build your own billy carts and realise there was no brakes so you just slammed it into the closest hedge you could find on that hill? When you used to go and play outside with your friends all day on weekends and school holidays? When guys actually walked up and asked "do you want to be my girlfriend"? When the best game on earth was the tennis game on your tv? (The one with just the line and the dot)? When a huge bag of lollies only cost 20 cents? When the only padded bras were made with stuffing tissues down your bra? When take away night was only on a Friday night? When fish and chips came rolled up in a newspaper? When cashiers used to count your change out to you? When you took your shopping home in a brown paper bag? When you could go to your local supermarket and get boxes to move for free? When you were allowed to climb trees in the park? When you were allowed to set off fireworks legally? When you could sleep on a hot night next to the front door with it wide open? When you never had to lock your door when you went out? When you could hear the milkman and his horse every morning? When the garbos used to throw the tin bins on the footpath early in the morning? The dial up phone? Writing letters and sending them by post? HR PuffnStuff and Banana Splits and Kimba being the best shows that you have seen EVER? The Bay City Rollers...mmmmm? When you had to get up off the couch to change the tv channel? When the scariest thing on TV was Deadly Earnest? When Choo Choo bars were the bestest lolly around? And lots lots more.... I remember when: when children where children and not sexualised for what they did or wore; when you could watch Noddy and Big Ears and not think they where gay; when you got milk delivered in real glasses bottles by the milkman; when you went to the drive in and didnt see any of the movie; when everyone smoked; when you could buy lollies for 2 cents; when people swung in the comfort of their own homes (now I understand what mum and dad where doing with the big glass bowl and all those keys!); when we drank summer wine and west coast coolers; when people actually wrote letters in their own handwriting; when mobiles and the internet didnt exist and when people could spell and the fullstop actually existed at the end of sentences. Hell the wii must be right and I am actually 61! Pusscat xx

Oh do you remember the Paddle Pop Lion lol...I actually danced in a concert with him lol at Blacktown Shopping Centre And Bernard King ffs, he paid us $2 a show.... Luvd the real milk in real milk bottles yum I use to scoop the cream and the foil top!! Neil Diamond Oh the bowl of keys oh heck nah mum and dad use to come home all giggly, i just thought they had a fun night...they were on the piss!!!! lol Use to buy 10cents worth of cobbers and don't you just miss the freckles, fark they are so small these days lol Watching Tiny Tim on our new TV..it was black n white Young talent time Molly Meldrum (thought he was hot) hahahah West Coast Coolers got me smashed.... Green Ginger wine & long necks at water skiing at 8am in the morning lol Giving out your HOME ph number Shaggy dog haircut No hair products No hair staighteners but old spice xxx

What about Before the Supermarkets, when you went to the Grocer and the Green Grocer. When the shops didn't stay open on Thursday nights, or Saturdays and Sundays.Cheers Nev.....We still eat at the table as a family, and talk!

Omg Blind! Pat Drummond at "The Rest" I was there, use to be a Thursday night special!!! and use to watch him at Paddington Ok this is driving me insane lol flooding memories When air conditioning was an open window Riding in Dad's old Holden Stationwagon 2 tone lol Losing my virginity in a Charger!!!! Nana's car Holden I learned to drive in Gears on the column Seeing snow for the first time Going to pub with Dad and bringing me out a fire engine red drink Oh Funloving, yes HR puff n stuff, can't get that song out of my head and the talking trees lol My Dad owned a fruit shop buying meat at the butcher Yes yes yes having a dial on the TV No arguments about the remote control, coz there wasn't one lol When you use to wear what Mum told you too Curfews Shuttle yes yes the original monopoly game and we use to play bingo for minties hahahahaha Snakes & Ladders Sleep talking and sleep walking Can't forget card games, fish and nana taught me euka (not sure of the spelling who cares!) we played 2cents a corner When Mum cooked every night Going to Parsley Bay as a kid and a dog stole my pie enough!!! getting walking stick out to go to fridge to get a bevy, talk about driving myself insane lol thanks for sharing your memories mwahs xxx
