If I was answering for R, I (Mich) would say not too floppy but still very women like and mecles where they should be, i.e. strong legs and no bingo arms.... We saw an interesting Louis Theroux Documentary that included a segment about men that had a female body builder fetish. I have to be totally honest and say that those women were overtly masculine and in our opinion highly unattractive. It was just not feminine in any way at all. So I guess its all a degrees thing.....

My hubby loves a woman with her curves in the right places as he puts it, but also loves it when there is a touch of tone there as well, athletic not muscular is fine by both of us I guess......oh and i must admit I love the way my ass looks when I'm really working out and eating well :D The girls here know what I mean, you pull on "that" pair of jeans and look in the mirror and go mmmmmm not bad lol

I think most guys dont like muscles!! There is nothing wrong with being lightly tonned (Inparticular the aerobic calve), but when chicks start to develop the biceps/triceps/abs etc etc that guys have it looks gross.. When a dude talks about curves hes referring to the butt, waist and boobs not muscles like ronnie coleman lol

Well, I'd condsider myself 'toned' given that I have visable and defined tone that I work hard to keep. I'm not sure if my body would be condsidered muscular but I have never had a complaint from either sex. In fact, it has only helped me work harder, bend lower, gasp louder and go further! I have always felt a good athletic body shows dedication (to excercise and diet) and also a great deal of body pride.Curves are amazing too and I cherish my own. No matter what your shape/size I can assure everyone that it really is a matter of different strokes for different folks. Dig in! :D x

Being bisexual, I'm personally attracted to feminine curves but I've discussed this with hubby. He said that, while Kym Kardashian might be the ideal for feminine shape as Arnold once was for the male shape, there are varying body types and each should be judged on it's own merits. As an example, while he has a personal preference for curvacious brunettes (like me) he would prefer Tea Leone to Liz Hurley because personality has to come into it. He says that he does find athletic, even muscular bodies, attractive. You have to admire the effort and dedication it takes to get there. He once met Carla Dunlap (a former Ms Olympia) and thought she was devestatingly attractive (grrrr). He says he finds Kathy Freeman attractive. He is not attracted to the women who dose themselves up with male hormones, steroids etc. until, not only their body but, their facial features take on male attributes but still respects this more than a woman who lets herself go and ends up weighing in at 150 kilo +. Still there are men out there with fetishes for these body types too. Different strokes for different blokes. Wouldn't it be boring if everyone was the same.

i dont like them too skinny and i dont like them with muscles. Slim is good, athletic is ok, shapely like a woman should be is best. but in saying this it depends on the whole package. some girls look great with a bit of extra on them, some girls look great at age 40 and some young girls i have seen look beat up like an old farm truck so it all depends on the person. Some girls just plain rock which-ever way and some are unfortunately just plain busted no matter what.It all depends on the whole package i guess. My other gripe is that many 'athletic' girls are flat chested. I wouldnt kick someone outta bed for something so trivial, and i am not obsessed with big chests, but i like it when they have something there.

Everything jiggles especially my boobs. I dare not run on the treadmill, I may blacken an eye. Mind you some desperate guy enjoyed the show the other day. Must not get out much poor luv. I have had kids and history on my hips, I am no spring chicken and happy that when I was I was curved and great boobs to the point I used to get guys telling me how they liked em. I mean the bus driver, the cab driver the butcher the baker. I cant run out of sight in a dark night, so no danger of me getting to many muscles. I guess if I want muscles I have to pick up at the gym. All I have to do is NOT, look all red in the face, sweating like a menopausal woman and huffing like I have ran a marathon instead of just run to the corner and back. Thank god for industrial strength sports bra.

As a few have said, I appreciate both feminine curves and athletic tone.When I think curvy I think Selma Hayek, curves in the right places,epitomises the word womanly.When I think of athletic I think toned, strong and I appreciate what goes into maintaining that body type. I know plenty of athletic woman that are not any less attractive or feminine for their athletic figures, just different.I like my curves but would also love a little less fat and a little more tone...after all soft is nice, squishy hmmm not so much :Pxx Salina

Athletic and toned wins for me every time over soft and flabby.. purely a personal preference but I love fit women, always have, always will. Whether that tone comes from running, weights, gymnastics or whatever form of exercise, as long as there's visible tone and you see and feel it, I'm all over it :D

if age and children were predeterminers of body shape, then every over 40's mother would be in poor shape. luckily thats not the case. i love 40's plus women...always have....and i love the look af an athletic woman, regardless of age. there is something to be admired in the amount of effort, dedication and discipline it takes to maintain an athletic shape and level of fitness, while having families and enduring the effects of time. beautiful women are more so, when they are physically beautiful as well........

I what I have learnt and discovered...What men say they want and what they actually will take on are two different things...Studies have shown that from a full picture available, they will take on the hottest woman, but when men are asked to describe and create a suitable woman for them, the overall picture is different...... more to the liking of a woman that is healthy size, child bearing hips and etc (healthy size does not mean the body of Angelina Jolie)On that note.... women are attacted to different types of men in accordance to their menstrual cycle... when ovulating, they seek a more dominant, strong, providing type of guy as oppose to when they are not, where a more boyish looking man they will take on....

dont feel guilty on our behalf, or because of our words........just do what you do, and be happy in knowing that the effort isnt for nothing. if people just understood that being physically active equates with so many healthy things other than just appearances, more would take the gym over days of our lives, dr phil or the bag of cornchips and salsa.... ........the benefits are many...and the payback? incredibly diverse....

The phrase "take pride in their appearance" confuses me. Do they mean "slim and fit" or "confident in their own skin"?A woman comfortable in her own skin is much more sexier than a woman who has low self-esteem and is never satisfied with how she looks.Adele and Christina Hendricks are as beautiful as Scarlett Johansson and Elle Macpherson.It's not what you look like. french women are notoriously slim....'elegant' is the word....the rest of the world should take notice. you hardly ever see an overweight french woman...they are svelte....slim...and sexy........curves should go in......not poke out....muffin tops arent sexy.......torsos overflowing and exploding from above a pants line arent attractive......chunky women in tights (omg they arent pants) arent sexy.....breasts that bulge from too-small tops arent sexy....trying to squeeze a size 16 body into a size 12 dress isnt appealing...........the packaging should compliment the contents.....not make it look like a poorly conceived caricature........

I agree with neko68. A woman looking sexy to me is mostly about being happy in the body that they have and taking pride in their appearance, whatever that body type may be. I have met gorgeously sexy larger curvy ladies who epitomise the Rubanesque look and are very happy and confident with their looks. I have also met similar body type ladies who don't want to be seen with the lights on and appear ashamed of their bodies. Similarly some fit toned girls just love their body and show pride in the effort they have put into it and can't wait to show it off, but other fit toned girls still are anxious about their body and not as proud. I don't know that I have a particular preferred body type - but I do find woman sexy when they are proud of what they have and can be attracted to any type of female really if they have this body confidence.

This is a good question... I think more guys are attracted to both at least I know I am.When in a night club or pub, I'm definitely drawn to a slim waist and big boobs. Muscles are also good, but its the athletic ability that turns me on. When at the park watching a women run around, especially explosive speed and agility... really draws me in and even more so.To be honest, it's hard to pick a winner. Its just a pity that both attributes so rarely come in the one package.

This takes a fair bit of thinking to distill the thoughts down. I agree with Neko68 about confidence, regardless of shape. I think say this as what I find most the most important feature I look at is eyes! I find nothing sexier or more honest than looking into someones eyes. The rest of the package is great at attracting a look, but nothing else will hold my attention or get me fantasising as fast.
