  I search in many ways, including the forum if I like what someone has wrote.Sometimes I search just out of boredom, not because I'm looking to hook up with someone.

  so have been talking to this guy via txt for a for a few weeks ..... and tonight we talk on the phone for the first time ..... so it came up where we grew up ... turns out ... same country town ... same school .. same class ...... we went to primary school together .... it is indeed a small world

  If a profile catches my eye I will take a look, then as you say a friend of theirs gets my attention then someone on their friends list and so on. Sometimes if i see a mutual friend then I will message the person and tell them we have that connection. If a friend of ours is friends with them then it is like a little testimony as to what they are like and often I find we get a positive response, I guess for the same reason.xx Salina

  Haha bewilderness, so true! If you speak to anyone off RHP bout another couple on there chances are they have a least seen their profile if not actually met with them. Its a very small scene!

  As salina, bewilderness & sexyduo all point out this is a small scene. We use the same "system" as a kind of double check. If someone has one of our friends in their friends list it gives a level of credibility. The problem we find is that some people just want to "friend" everyone. We make it clear that we won't "friend" until we have met in person. That way we know our "recommendations" are genuine and not time wasters. Something for those people with 50 plus "friends" to consider???

  Once I find someone in my area who appeals to me, I look at their male friends friend list to see what other female friends they have... a lot of the time this works. xo
