Dear Diary 2

December 02 2010

Dear Diary.. I joined a gym today... or.. at least I tried to!! I got to the door saw the hot pumped up guys inside and decided to join later!! but as I was about to leave one of the sales assistants grabbed me.. all I can say is wow what a gym!! the long skinny path that divides the cardio equippment from the weights is kinda a humiliating walk.. all the guys on the weight equippment watchin as you walk past.. maybe I should just stick to walking down by the beach... hehe it's less intimidating!! as for my eating healthy.. hmmm well I had a thickshake for lunch hahaha does that count?

People join gyms every day. It's actually a great way to meet other people. Personally, I enjoy the spin classes... and aqua aerobics. The spin classes are fun eventually... after a short while your 45 mins and you can check out the change rooms :p. but at first the 45 minutes feels like hours. In my first class, the first 5 minutes made me think I was going to die before 45 minutes came around.. and I barely made it to the showers where I sat on squatted on the floor for half an hour trying to catch my breathe. This pain passes and eventually routine sets in. That's when it becomes more rewarding... and routine becomes an addiction. The dopamines, you see from exercise improve your happiness. Plus sex is so much better when you don't have to weaze your way through the night or stop because you're exhausted, not because you've climaxed. The threshold of pain extends further and further away from the beginning, to the point where you need to do more challenging stuff... like a step class. That shit's impossible!I like aqua areobics because lots of lovely ladies do it and hardly ever any men... and I enjoy the extra attention. :pHugsStalky

Quoting 'MissBJ'Giggly....try Curves....or one of the other women only gyms...I go to Curves and love it!!JMO...BJxxx I started off by going to Curves and after three months found it to be the soft option. Yes they are wonderfully supportive and the bonus is that it is all women. You can work at your own pace and there is no pain. Short bursts seemed to suit me as I get bored easily. After a while though this was not enough and so I sort out a PT. I got a male one because if a woman pushed me the wrong way I was gonna push back....violently...but I needed someone tough. I aske a friend who is a gym junkie and she recommended this guy. He made me seriously work and checked out the diet, the way I walked, stood, the whole thing. Fantastic. PLUS PT's usually have such buff bodies. I figured if he was gonna kill me I wanted something nice to look at while I dies. After while you notice it getting easier and easier. You need to crank it up a notch and this is good. You get sooooo pumped ....and horny after being to the gym. Dont worry too much about the adonis pumping iron, he is human as well and they kike larger girls...someone to admire thier bodies instead of them having to admire the woman. Plenty of them are gay. The gym is just a gay bar with weights. They hate it in my gym when I say that.

Hi Giggly, Well done on stepping into what can be a daunting environment. As a former gym addict and still frequent attendee, I can relate to the "testosterone" atmosphere of certain gym (I go to one of them). At first it was rather off putting but instead I used it to motivate me and set myself goals. I may not be able to bench press 100kg but I did achieve my goal of doing 40 unassisted chin ups and 200 push ups (on my toes). I found after awhile the looks I got from the guys were those of admiration and a surprise (and maybe a little lust). As for all the testosterone ? I have been known to walk up behind a guy who is lifting weights in front of the mirror and make a comment like, "is that all you can lift ? My dead grandmother can lift more than that!" Or try and grunt when they do.... it really throws them off ! Good luck. It feels great once it all comes together but it takes time. xx Saturn

i started exercising 5 years ago in my lounge room at lunchtime, with a $7 second hand thighmaster i bought from ebay. since then i've lost 27kg (and gained a Wii and a bunch of weights) and become fitter than i've ever been in my life. and you don't need anything at all to start doing sit-ups. i never liked exercise before, but doing it my way has made me really own it and enjoy it - and yes, sex is soooo much more fun! off to have a game of squash this afternoon to exercise my "girl on top" muscles... :) go for it Giggly! do it your way.

apparently the boys only turn gay Fiona, cause they get so used to looking at buff male bodies in mirrors all the time they forget what a womans curves look like LOL... but yeah having nice scenery while gasping for breath does kinda help.... and the lat pull down machine..whoa..stretches right thru me down to my pelvic floor and feels......sooooo good LOL love lat pull downs....mmmmmmm maybe ill swap lat pull downs for foreplay...my PT would be happy about that lol
