  My husband and I met on the net in a chat room in 2000, married in 2002 and were together till 2008.   We openly told people how we met, even tho the social stigma at the time was that being on the net equaled sordid, lonely perves with no social skills.  The look on peoples faces was always that of surprise which I still do not understand. The net is just another medium in meeting folks.    So yes, people who meet online can end up in very loving relationships.   Joanna   x

  Two of my close friends found happiness with online dates..Both situations developed into relationships and moving in with each other. One couple split 12 - 18mths later and the other couple are still going strong!!!! I really don't think it matters how you meet new people as long as you enjoy yourself along the way and no one gets taken in by con artists!!!

  well i met my gorgeous girl online and have never looked back she makes me the happiest person out. I am totally committed to her and no one will take that away. And once i get rid of the other burden she will me a part of me   J

  My previous relationship was with an American girl. We went out for 4 years, a long-distance relationship, and even got engaged. Didn't work out in the end, though. I still look back on that relationship with great fondness, she was a nice girl, even though I'm happily married now. So, yes, it does happen. Can't vouch for the frequency of it happening, though.

  well I met my man on here last year, and we soon took the plunge.It just felt right, we still come and chat now and then because we have also made some great friends and enjoy the chatroom (most of the time we enjoy it anyways) lil_me (was mrs wacountry but we deleted that profile)

  I am still single and would much rather meet a potential partner through a site like this than a dating site....I tried that and no success as my lil kinks were looked at weirdly.....hehe..     Sadly too many men have double standards ..And stupidly think a nice girl would not be on RHP...But they are on here...derrrr....Does that mean you men who have double standards don't deserve that wonderful woman....tut tut!     huggies and keep your minds open to all possibilities   sweetpetite41 xxxx

  a friend of mine met her husband on the net....   he moved over from canada...they married....they had a couple of gorgeous kids   then he started beating her and their kids...was put in jail twice for bashing her and their baby   so sometimes just like in the real world...you need to be careful   roxy xxx

  My partner and I met on a play date from this site. and have had a great relationship since then ( about 18 months) we find we can be totally honest and open about every aspect of our lives. We are now planning our wedding in the very near future :)  Have fun everyone
