Date Finder....please explain?
January 04 2020
But hey, how hard is it to send a quick message to that effect.
NOT VERY, come on people, show a litttle RESPECT. Makes planning meets so much easier!

Over 20 interests, only one message. My friends say the same. They should make it that you have to send a message instead of just registering interest?

Although I’ve never used the date finder , similar experiences with most guys in general on here who are just using it to past time, gather wanking material & never have any intention of meeting. Again, I say ‘most’ guys. Frustrating to say the least.
It’s a sad world we live in today when people are unable to effectively communicate in person & are glued to their devices.RHP User

I could not understand. In the other hand, you can show interest in the date finder, get a reply saying "Thank you for your date finder interesting, lets talk. " and get dumped becouse was a fake reply. How does that works?
I have so far a lot of mix experience with date finder, with women playing hard to catch and just looking for Prince charming.
Not a great deal of people follow true.RHP User

Usebi, you know we all have the same problems on here right? It's just that a certain democratic is more vocal in their displeasure 😉

Sydneysexploring I'm guessing you're probably on the money.
We've never bothered with it, anyone know if a guest can even reply to a date finder ad?RHP User

Honestly can’t see the point in using this if you have no intention of meeting. Fucking dreamers and ego boosters shit me to tears!

What gets me is that guests can’t even see what the date entails, what if it’s a Country and Western barn dance and I’m interested? 😂😘

Just a tip, part of being chivalrous on here will mean paying for a membership, you’ll get sweet fuck all without one. No membership = no means = no chance.

Do you send a message through date finder or separately? Reason I ask is if you are a guest, and you show interest in a date - if the person replies they are also interested through date finder the guest cannot reply to that message.
So a non-reply may mean many things from I’m still keen but can’t chat to I am sitting at my desk eating Cheerios in Europe having a bit of fun.SpicyKale

Rlee552 not really sure, but in all honesty you need a ticket in the lottery to have any chance. The only reason I can see to be a guest member is if you're a single female and don't want an inbox full of dick pics🤷♂️ At less than $4 a week it's cheap entertainment!

I often get interest and nobody pays attention to the location, if they are hours away and don’t message, it’s a bit pointless.

OP sorry to hear so many eyes are bigger than their stomachs that they show interest but don't follow up when you do the generous thing of contacting in response to their show of interest.
Assuming they haven't been blocked since... Guests can reply to sent messages if anyone is wondering...

Yep that used to shit me when putting up a date, you’d get dozens of interested from other states, or even hours away.
So what, you’re going to travel from Brisbane to melbourne for a meet with a stranger??SpicyKale

Megz, I'd like to say that I'm surprised... but we've had five messages or flirts today and the closest was a five hour drive from Adelaide! On the plus side, it's better than no attention at all😐 People generally just don't read profiles, it drives us bat shit. Not a complaint, just an observation!

So here's my opinion at the moment - and it's just that, an opinion, so happy for others to take a different view.
I'm a guest at the moment. I've been through stages of different levels of membership. I state all of that in my profile. I'm not cheap in the slightest, I just don't seek it out all the time, so don't bother keeping premium if I'm not using it (think paying for that gym membership week in week out that you only use once in a while).
I'm quite happy to upgrade to message someone's profile (that appears genuine), if they're interested to chat (even if it results in no meetup - it costs the price of a few drinks to have an online drink so to speak...). So when it comes to a datefinder ad, I'll express interest - I believe I have a lot of information in my profile for someone to determine if they want to hear from me. If I get some kind of positive info back, I'll pony up and message them.
I realise there's a lot wannabe's or 'not sures' on this site and the competition is fierce etc etc and nothing seems to make more impact than a guy taking the initiative of a nice thought out message. Having said that, been there and done that, and also having been on here a while, there's an awful large number of couples that say guys don't contact us, we'll contact you, and hence this is where I sit a lot of the time lately.
At the end of the day I may be missing out, but a while back I had to balance out my life. As a guy being on here, I might be lucky to get 1 reply in 3 messages sent and they're not necessarily a 'I'm interested reply' either, so the amount of messages I sent to even get anything positive, I had to weigh up how much energy I wanted to sink into nice thought out messages vs other things I want to do with my life and this is where I am right now.
When I started writing this, I was planning to come to some kind of balanced conclusion here, but got lost in my own thoughts, I probably have more to add, but my post has gone long enough...zzzzzz...I'll leave it you... :)countrytouch82

I thought the idea of Datefinder interests was so that the HOST could pick and choose and message who they like from the list and based on their profile/s, and not get the usual inundation of bland messages?
(I'm assuming here that both paid members and guests can list a Datefinder, in that case a guest listing one would have to rely only on sent messages to them).
Also many datefinders include single men but their profile says otherwise, so messaging might be unwise...RHP User

Being a guest creating the datefinder date,
you can receive "interest" from others that are also guests, and if you accept, you can
upgrade to message back.

True, agreed. I've noticed that too - you see the generic date text, but then read their profile saying couples only or saying men we will find you etccuriousnhorny05

@country
It seems the ppl saying they are interested. Aren’t interested enough to check the profile properly or express to the date how they might meet up and then it’s on you to contact them. Tricky if you are a guest.
I live in a regional area so sometimes there isn’t local interest unfortunately.RHP User

Well i'm just new in here,a guest for now at least.,i'm just looking around to see who is in this site in my homeland of New Zealand. Not sure about this date finder option, even if i upgrade i still may not use date finder.,each to ones own i guess?.
But i do agree with what some people say in here,re people not responding to other people's request.,yes! it is rude not to reply and i agree it is not hard to say a simple thank you for your interest but sorry i can't..... and so on!.But all the best to you all who do use this option and i hope you have good luck with what your seeking in here-happy new year 2020 to you all.RHP User

Really how hard is it too send a quick message to let the others know what is happening. I’ve experienced it myself just this weekend with people contacting me to express interest in catching up...... but then no follow up!! It shits me that people want to be treated with respect and courtesy but yet they can’t show it themselves.
Honestly what is the point of being in a site like this if you won’t reply to a simple message!!RHP User

Guests cant message you.
One of the few things they can do is respond to your datefinder thing with an "I'm interested"
I guess, after reading this thead, its a waste of time doing that without a paid membership.
Although, having said that, im a single guy, guest only, and I've had plenty of conversations on here with paid members who contacted me first, so there is that.
Then theres a whole raft of people who seem personally offended if you're not a paid member, like it somehow affects their quality of life 🤷♂️😂
For the record, im loving this site and getting to know some likeminded, sex positive, fun, cool people.
I'm planning on getting a paid membership, soon as I can travel freely again.
