My guess is the only law would really be around would be when it involves minors of any type. I know that if you complain that someone has their child/ren running around in the background while they are in the cam room (on cam) that they can be banned from the Site. I agree with this strongly as it does amaze me how many adults can't wait until their kids are in bed before camming it up!! Never will you see me on cam when my kids are home...awake or asleep!! Nor will I ever go into a chat room while my kids are up...life is too short and spending time with my kids is more important than any chatroom. Also seeing a crime on cam and not reporting it...that makes you an accesory after the fact?? But other than that, I have no idea...sorry. xFunlovingx

Grrr pressed the send button and remembered an important one...it is illegal to film anyone that is on cam without their consent and knowledge BEFORE you start any filming/recording of any type.! xFunlovingx

I have seen one girl playing with herself and she was totally naked as her 2 year old daughter was climbing over the back of her chair! It wasn't on this site but they got so many complaints that she was banned from the site! I have also seen couples and others masturbate (partly clothes) as you see the door behind them open and if they have audio...OMG you should hear the parent/s go off at the kids for walking in!! But Roxy, I am also talking about chatting...I mean really...what kind of parent ignores their child just so they can chat to people on cam or even on a website? Turn off the cam and keep chatting if you can't hold off till they go to bed or school..but it's just so wrong to have kids around (in my opinion) at all. Plus you have to be careful in the cam rooms...as many people in there will film it without you knowing and you never know where it will end up!! xFunlovingx

OMG i can not believe people do that stuff with their kids in the room i will sit on the computer if my kids are happily playing and doing stuff on their own i dont neglect them lol...although sometimes i wish i could hehe i have been known alot to say no i wont turn my cam on (just to chat) because my kids are roaming in and out of the room i have also known men to move or stop their cams if a child has walked into the room (once again just chatting)....so some parents are responsible even when i did cam i would never even do it when the kids were in the house...just incase one happened to come by....wow some people are amazing roxxy xxx....OMG still in shock

If a person can look at you then they also have a right to take your photograph, whether you approve or not. According to s21G of the NSW Summary Offences Act 1988, photographs are prohibited if you have a reasonable expectation of privacy" (eg. in a toilet or changing room) AND the images are of a sexual nature and taken for "sexual gratification" purposes. Please note: shots of bathers at public beaches are not covered by s21G, as there cannot be any "expectation of privacy" when in public places or crowds. Say you just saw a photo of me on a website and the image was taken without your knowledge or permission. Isn't its publication illegal? No. However the pictures cannot be used for a commercial purpose. If the photographer doesn't have your permission (usually in the form of a signed release), then they might be in breach of TPA legislation and are liable for statutory fines. What is "commercial use"? In a photographic context it does not mean the sale of a picture, but rather the use of a person's likeness to endorse some product or service, or to entice you to buy it. Oh the Telecommunications Act... it's an offence to record a telecomunication without consent (unless you are the police).. so recording webcam is probably illegal. Hugs Gaz

Forgetting about any moral issues, are there any laws pertaining to consenting adults using web cams for an erotic purposes or broadcasting erotic images? I fully agree about minors / children and the recording of others. I know a lot of people are keen on the odd cam session and would really like the piece of mind of knowing that no laws are being broken.

I was referring to .. you know... academic doctors... for educational purposes.... As it happens, errr... a friend of mine who shall remain nameless, got something nasty that with antibiotics .. it just would not quit and like a flesh eating fungus it kind of mangled his genitals up a bit for a while there .... still a bit of a notch evident... hehe... and his doc hadn't seen anything quite like that before (and frankly who would want to.. I can tell you) So he asked if he could take a picture of that thing for his journals... "Holy fuck.. for the love of God would you look at that" I think were the Doctors words resounding through the consulting room down the hall and all the way to reception... anyway... no doubt academics somewhere are perving on those photos.. for academic purposes... with respect to the particular affliction at hand :p Hugs Stalky Quoting 'couple30ssydney'Since when???

Quoting 'mikle' I'm sure you can record webcam. I remember before there was java applications like utube and what rhp does it was quite easy with some programs. I am sure it's still quite easy to do if you wanted to just get the related software to record java apps. I dont know what they are called these days, cant really be bothered with it all. Best advise is remember your on the internet... you shouldn't ever do anything with some one you havent met in person or do something you couldnt live with if the whole world knew about it (but hey who doesnt slip up sometimes...lol) XXX Mikle You can record anything on your screen with the right screen capture software, including video and sound, not just limited to still pictures. Long story short - your advice is 100% spot on. Wayne
