Most of them were toothless saddle tramps that smelled worse than their horses and bathed about once a month in a creek wearing all the cloths they owned. If they had teeth they got elected as the sheriff and if they could stay sober long enough got to be the mayor of the town. The gunfighters shot at each other because nobody else could be bothered and most of them missed, no one gathered to watch either as that was one of the original extreme sports you know.   Modern cowboys exist but like most things have evolved. Nothing wrong with a 'copter and outback digger to get you where you want to go and most shop at Country Roads. No more 'Redeye and sporting women' now it's aged Pinot and women dressed to kill.   I saw this on Mythbustesr, it must be true.

Ah just don't rightly know, but when yous cross from Louisiana in to East texas, you can't tell the difference. Everyone still wears their name on their belt buckle. At your service. Ma'am.
