Couples meet n greet melb !

November 20 2014

we are like most others & always pushed for time & not easy to arrange meeting with others, Wondering who may be interested in a meet n greet on maybe a charter boat . Think there are companies that run out of south bank & geelong. If there was interest we could maybe book well in advance & those who come could have some fun with no expectations or pressure. Maybe RHP could organise something?? Could be a lot of fun on a summers evening or arvo Look forward to comments - Posted from rhpmobile

A charter boat party would not be profitable for RHP due to the low numbers unless you are thinking one of those massive boats for a hundred people, and from what I understand they don't do sex parties anyway. So chill out, maybe this something you can organise. :)

Sex on premises laws are extremely strict in Australia. It would be very difficult to get approval for a play meet on a boat. Many people who express an interest to attend meet n greets don't show up and so even if it were just a social meet, one would need to get payment up front to cover the charter costs. Safer and more convenient to have it on dry land. We attended the last one several weeks ago. It was fun. - Posted from rhpmobile

A meet and greet could be good, but a chartered boat sounds more like a sex party. Something where people could easily come and go and not be committed to the length of the cruise is more likely to entice the hesitant. Sydney members seem to regularly initiate meet and greets - someone from those probably has a few pointers about the venue, time, etc. Cheers, Tess

The only problem I see with having it on a charter boat, is that for whatever reason there maybe a awkward/Tense moment and people would be left with nowhere to escape. I personally love the idea of cruising around the bay having a few drinks, chatting to new people. :) MsWerehere2please xxxxxx

We wouldn't go to a meet and greet on a charter boat, not really that good of a swimmer if we wanted to slip off home early

Did anything come of the couples one? What of one organised for anyone interested? How well-attended have they been in the past?
