Communication - the art of meeting people online....what works / doesn't?

October 23 2011

We are an adventurous couple, willing to delve into the RHP world, subject to what we are looking for, and are happy to follow rules relating to what you want and are looking for also.Gotta ask the questions, though - what is the go with receiving all of these messages from guys who have failed to read our profile? It clearly says "no guys"....Hubby and I are happy with RHP - but fair go. We get messages from guys hoping to jump into our marriage - when that isn't on our list of wants. I want to meet women, and hubby is cool to either join in or just hear the awesome stories - depending on how things roll - but - I think the key is "respect".Whinge over about that - but - starting a conversation should involve more than one-word answers....what are everybody's thoughts surrounding this? If we are asking questions - it is a fantastic opportunity to get to know people! Tell us your horror stories, as well as your successess....trying to learn a bit here also! BTW - we are talking to a woman - she is gorgeous, and can string a sentence together - cross your fingers for us! (If they aren't too busy ha ha ha!!!)

No matter what you are after, the people on your NO GO list will always try. That's just how it goes. Get pissed off, have a rant - and then realise that it will never change.   When we make contact with people, we expect some effort to go into a reply. If you send us a 1 word, or even a 1 line reply - you have no chance.   You have to be able to hold a conversation.   We've copped abit of slack about this, but we figure, if you're not going to put the effort into writing a response on here, you're likely to be lazy in other areas also.   (MRS) Foreverlove
