Commenting on pictures

April 30 2017

Hi all who else thinks that a comment section needs to be added for pictures? We have seen this on other swinger/dating sites and think it is a great....i understand this may not be available due to communicating for free so should only be available for paid members. What is everyone elses view on this??

Can only make the site better. An added option to turn comments off so its a win win no matter what peoples individual take on the idea is . - Posted from rhpmobile

If so, there is a comments section.....just scroll to the bottom of the page you have open, there is a tab labelled something like "view comments", they can be made through there. Not sure if it is the same through the app, as I only use the full site.

I think it was refering to adding comments straight under peoples pics on there profile as they do on other sites - Posted from rhpmobile

There would be an avalanche of suggestions of what the single males would like to do to your bits.

@Annie, I know what I'd like to do to your bits 😘 😉 And I think I get enough attention without the added attention, thank you very much 😋 - Posted from rhpmobile

I would imagine if you were allowed to comment on people's profile pics, there would be catty remarks posted - particularly by those whose advances have been spurned.

Am familiar with it on another site and can't say I'm a fan. Don't really see the point, if I like someone's pic I either message them or post a comment on the forums for them to see.

We experienced it on another site, and had to ask admin to disable comments on our photos, as some of these were really disrespectful and abusive. - Posted from rhpmobile

I already get it via messaging or the Damn you're not flirt. If it was made available I think it could end up with a pile of tasteless comments attached to people's pics. Good idea in theory but the reality is a little different.

Definitely in the no camp, way too open to abuse 😃

Perhaps just a limited selection of reactions or just a like feature on pics. But really if you want to tell someone you think their pic is hot, surely it's better to do it directly and engage in conversation with them?

As long as the owner of the picture has the right to accept or reject the comnent before it goes public - Posted from rhpmobile

You can comment unmoderated on fetlife photos. I ended up changing the majority of mine to friends only - because all the messages (inbox) became purely based on the pics. Also, I think there is enough avenue via the pics section in here, if people want commentary. So, I'm in the no camp.

I would have though you were voted hot not NOT ;). I wouldn't think it a great idea like others have said just too open to abuse. And like GreenieChick said just write and tell them. And I would assume as overly abused as flirts are when a guest. Though as itsjustsex13 suggests there could be a switch comments off but what a bitch if you weren't aware of said option or forgot to turn it on

But feel if it's going to happen, like validations, the owner of the profile must approve the comments before they can be seen to others.

Agree i think that the comments should be approved before being available for everybody's viewing, we have found that comments just adds another element in a positive way, just a personal opinion and can understanf the negative side of it as well. I also think that everybody should be verified before being allowed to contact members will help get rid of the fake profiles that seem to be a never ending nightmare - Posted from rhpmobile

With the validation first idea to weed out the fake profiles. Comments for pics... maybe also consider comments on profiles rather than just pics. Either way, yes to approval by profile owner. And have a setting for all profiles to allow or not allow comments from others.. we all get the choice that way. If you select no then users can't even post a comment. This would allow rhp to explore the initiative whilst everyone gets to choose their preference during the trial. Either way, rhp should endeavor and maybe does, to investigate new opportunities to improve.
