  There's a couple of them in Brisbane (City and Chermside). They're completely gross. Full of guys wanking off. Not appealing for females or couples. You leave feeling like you need to boil yourself 😅

  We have been there a couple times, although would be over a year ago now last time went. Actually found it ok! Yes understand there can be undesirables in places like that, and have experienced it in other locations.
  But is tidy (enough) compared to places that used to exist in Sydney. Kinky closet in valley is probably better as they do attract more couples.

  I have been to quite a few of these cinemas over the years: Vancouver, Geneva, London Auckland Etc. Was an independent backpacker for many years. My girlfriend and I went to Club X in Perth several times (before it burned down a year ago). The cinema shows adult movies (aka PORN) It was popular with couples in the weekend but the majority of the clientele were single males. Now, no disrespect to the people who run these cinemas but its basically a gay MM cruising spot (think George Michael loitering in a public toilet) Its a bunch of guys watching porn in a dark room having a wank, most likely wanking each other off.
  If you are an exhibitionist and like watching porn with a bunch of other people around then its all good. Yeh us!!!
  The cinemas are usually very clean and the people are friendly and considerate, and keen for a chat. Having said that the only restriction on entry is that you pay the entry fee, so you do get a few random pervs.
  I am very good at crowd control so this doesn't worry me.
  If you are interested in this sort of thing I would totally recommend you check out your local swingers club instead as it is a much more relaxed and safer environment.
