A bit of decorum please... Like you' we were bought up to show respect . Definately shows a lack of manners for others...specially in mixed company.. When it comes to the boys only' who cares, boys will be boys... and is more readily accepted. Just as long as they dont carry it into mixed company. This is where you separate the men from the boys..Mr JJ

my friend (female) who is like a sister to me and myself always go to the local pub for 888 poker and another poker player (female)i is there also. My friend goes to the toilet and finds her on the 1st toilet that you walk in to with the door wide open. She thinks it's sick for a old female to go to the toilet with the door wide open and then leaves without washing her hands. We alsways now ask to find out what table she's on and make sure we're not on it as it's disgusting what she does.

Cant stand it! I,v got a no talkin to or from the toilet too and yes that includeds phone calls...really it can wait!

really the closed door is a must is most situations... when i have been with someone for awhile.. dont mind if they dont for a pee... what i dont like is... not closing the door for things other than a pee and not checking the bowl for residue! My other pet hate for bodily functions is passing wind around the house.... it is mainly a man thing unless I am wrong... a little decorum goes a long way...

My ex flat mate used to do this all the time it drove me mad...whether there was company or not...any time day or night... . mind you in the past couple of months I had need of also peeing with the door open at the pub - why??? because I couldnt walk/bend my right knee which meant I couldnt sit down nor get up from the toilet seat either and required assistance....damn good thing I have some understanding and lovely friends...lol . I'm a Big Woman so I don't always close the toilet door W.A. homes have the smallest Toilets designed by Guys who stand to pee.he!he! .but I let others know I'm going there so they don't walk in when I've shut the Laundry or Bathroom door... I hate it when someone is talking to me outside the door when I'm on the throne. I like to take a zen moment or contemplate my navel. When Guys visit the seat is usually left up , on rare occasions pee splashes remain behind Needless to say I do pick him up on that fact very quickly , they fix it and it never happens again.Either they don't come back h!he! in which case no loss or they are more respectful of me in the future. Seems the majority feel the same way, that is 'close the toilet door'. I feel the same way. I"m not squeamish or precious about bodily functions - but do I need to see it on full display from friends and family in my home - 'nah, not really'. I put it in the same category as when I see men spitting in public places - it's just rather gross.

I finally had to look at this and not too surprised...but really, I have been trying to solve the GFC on one thread and trying to find out how to get laid by a hot chick from Mensa on another. | Simple solution....just move out to the country. Walk out the back door and find a tree...it's good for the environment. Damn, then there's the carbon tax thread....just be sure that you know the difference between poison oak and a leaf from an oak tree. | ....and if piss off the balcony when your staying at a nice hotel, check the wind direction first. |

Don't have a problem with that Jensta, just people who I don't want to be that familiar with. Could be a carbon tax charge involved CM, depending on what emissions emanate from within the loo.

I'm lucky to not have had guests that leave the door open but even as a guy I cannot understand guys that leave their sprinkles on the floor! Now sometimes that stream has a mind of it's own and some misses the bowl but how can anyone leave it there, I'd be too embarrassed thinking someone would think it was mine, even if there wasn't any toilet paper left I'd find a way to clean it up!

my mum is so claustrophobic that she cant bear to shut the toilet door, but this is due to being locked in wardrobe for hours on end as punishment when she was a kid. so maybe there are other people out there with similar issues??.... what i really hate is people who shit with the door open. actually i hate it when visitors shit in my toilet full stop!!! if youre staying the night, i guess you might not have an choice, its not healthy to hold it, but, ffs, if youre just dropping in for coffee, take a shit at home before you come over, thanks!!
