Hahaha i suggest you have already my dear wasted enough time pondering ! Thinkning ! Wondering ! Maybe ! What if ! So just do it ! As long as it feels good and seems ok ? Why not , remember the past never forget the future ! A beautiful woman once said to me and i use it all the time ? a mistake is only ever a stupid mistake ! When we keep repeating it! And how do we even know it will be a mistake if we do not taste for ourselves ? Its simple my dear if it fits ! Wear it , our nose is above our mouth for one reason ?? If it smells like shit dont eat it !!!! - Posted from rhpmobile

We waste time over thinking. We think about the past - we think about the future - we think about our emotions and feelings too much to be able to find that place of NOW in our minds. You say " I feel it is not possible to do, because our life is appointments, deadlines, and planning" - These are part of everyday life and they are in the NOW - you are organising them NOW.......... Now leave it and forget about it untill the time comes to as you, then be in your NOW again. Throw your watch away and enjoy your time for you!

In my opinion, we are all in many way moulded by our pasts. I feel the problem with many of us is, it dictates what we do, think and how we react in the present "the now". Personally I've used my past experiences as a positive regardless of whether they were good or bad. Take something good from them and incorporate them into your everyday life being the present. That way you'll know what's right for you regardless of what comes your way. There isn't anything wrong with having, short, intermediate and long term goals or "thinking ahead" as long as they don't distract you from enjoying everything there is to be enjoyed every day you get up. It really isn't worth being hung up on what may have been in the past or through out the day. Choose life moment by moment and you'll notice people will automatically want to be a part of the happy, inspired you. Keep having fun here, everyday and be safe. Koz.

Just stop every now and again and do small things. Read a book some garden time some sun or rain on your face. Pat the dog, knit or what ever it takes to appreciate the now. The only place we all live in is the now. The future is not set that appointment you may never get to. The past is done and dusted only our memory anchors us too it.so cut that anchor and drift.

There's a difference between having a goal for the future and being attached to or obsessed with how to get there. There are lots of different paths to the future and for me, living in the now means being open and responsive to opportunities and adventures and twists and turns that come along. So I'm committed to the goal but not attached to the path that gets me there. I adjust my steps based on what life presents me in any given moment. When I do this I know I'm living in the now :) Letting go of the past is much harder for me. My mind can stay very focused on my past mistakes and the only thing I've found that helps me let go in any given moment is to breathe and notice the thoughts but not add to them. They're there, and I observe them, but I try not to dwell on them. I don't think "living in the now" is a destination point that people achieve. I think it's a daily habit to keep practicing. - Posted from rhpmobile

I am only living in the now. My whole adult life I have been doing everything possible to make a better future and I'm so tired of it. Now I just enjoy each day as it comes, making new friends and getting rid of the ones that aren't good for me. At times I do still miss some old friends and places, but the new ones are good ones.

I dont believe I have waste time on pondering this "NOW" It could look like I do, yes I give you that. When I would waste it, I would feel lost in a way, wouldn't I ? and I am not.Its interesting how each one of us experiences the now.

We try our very best to live with a positive outlook to what happens in the now, sometimes it is difficult though that does not change things. Worry is stress and no good for anyone, in particular those who we love. Mado Tara xx

Certain aspects (a lot) of my life is most defiantly in the now, never would I in a million years live my life in the past, but I feel I still need to live some of my life for in the future......I still have responsibilities and commitments that make it hard to live my entire life in the now...... But what I do with my life is......I live it, love it, enjoy it, embrace it, cherish it and be thankful for it.......💋

But that's in the past... And as far as the future goes, I never seem to catch it, everytime I think it's going to happen it's over. I think I need a tardis... Maybe a very sexy tardis that just transports me into some of my favourite moments.

The so-called 'past' is simply a memory trace, stored in the mind of a former NOW. This 'future' as it is called, is the mind again, projecting imaginary thought forms into some opaque, nebulous and illusionary timeframe that we've labeled 'future'. And when you do this, you do it NOW, and when you delve back into the 'past' you do it NOW.... So all we ever have is this NOW moment. All else is an illusion

While I'm far from perfect and have desires, expectations, want and regrets like everyone does to some extent, generally I am very good at living in the now. There can be a down side to this as it sometimes does not serve me well in the area of relationships and self awareness. While living in the "now" is a worthwhile goal that can enhance the enjoyment of life it needs to be in "balance" with having goals and critically reviewing ones actions. In fact I think "balance" in all aspects of life is the most important factors in living a happy and successful life. Balance is the tricky thing...........just watch an infant learning to walk or try standing on one leg for any length of time!

not for anyone else or what someone wants be to me. I sometimes live in the past as some things may trigger certain things off...a certain song, photo's or a flash back/memories. So I ponder on them..I think that is OK to do. Why not?? I live for the future as well..I am very much a planner and like to know what is happening etc etc somethings I have no control and other things I can. My work diary is so full, that it frustrates me at times and other times not so much. For me tho, it's a little small things that make me live for NOW. As in sitting outside and having a morning coffee, smelling and breathing in fresh salt air and ejoying what a gorgeous sunny day we are having in QLD and what a wonderful life I have...past, present and future. :) I believe gratitude has a lot to living for today and now. :) Foxy

I used to stop for a moment and tell myself " remember this moment in the future", but now I'm buggered if I can remember any of those moments.
