Bullshit Button

I have read the button forum, what about a bullshit button for the pretenders (MAN PRETENDING TO BE WOMAN, MARRIED PRETENDING TO BE SINGLE, STRAIGHT PRETENDING TO BE BI, LOOKING FOR LOOKING FOR NOTHING ETC) why not have a bullshit button that rates the truth of the profile, if you find it is bullshit you press it, too many presses gooooooone! what do you think? I am the other half of Mrs Mum, we are who we are, our profile is genuine, we are even happy to host a verification party to remove the bullshit Mr Mum

What if the guy or the girl or whoever had a vendetta against them? What if they were knocked back by someone...they can then push this button and have all their friends push the button for them! Another way to bully people I am afraid! xFunlovingx

What if the other person does hold a grudge because you gave them a knock back? To ope to abuse the same as a name and shame.

the vendetta principle, why not have the bullshit button report who pressed it, now we could have a sour grapes button as well! LOL I could make for interesting viewing mrs mum

lolz.... the idea might take flight if this was a democracy but as it stands a complete arsehole's money is still just as bankable as anyone else's.... so I doubt the "gone" concept will get a run.. still.. the bullshit button could be fun! HUgsS

We are very careful now because in the past we've been caught a couple times by fakes, but in this type of environment you must take the good with the bad. There are always going to be the ones who try to take advantage, if you're careful and ask the right questions you won't get caught. On the flip side. Even the genuine members can change their minds about someone once they get to know the person better. It doesn't make them fake for backing away, but if the other party is vindictive enough they could do some real damage to their reputation. In a perfect world we wouldn't need a bullshit button, because everyone would be genuine. So why I think it's a good idea, I have to respectfully disagree.

A bullshit button would be abused for sure. You need to just work it out. A fake will always get caught out, and there are a lot of them.
