But I've heard from someone with implants that she knew of ppl who lost nearly all sensitivity or have reduced sensitivity. Hers were fine though apparently its a risk you run with that kind of surgery. Same as having your nose done, you run the risk of losing your sense of smell... how common it is i cant say.

Ive known a number of women with implants. As with everything in life..... their answer varies when it comes to sensitivity changes, and that seems to depend on the method of surgery they had. Inframammary incisions (beneath the breast) don't affect the nipple while Periarolar surgeries which are typical for woman with smaller implants obviously affect the nipple area. (I dated a surgeon for a while). Ive never met a woman who has had the other options via the armpit or navel.

Comes from nerve damage. It can be present in varying degrees post operatively.
