  For anime and other Japanese culture there’s Books Kinokunya in Sydney CBD.
  
  I also use QBD books for some but often now I use Amazon for any recommendations or rabbit holes of topic I wish to learn about.
  
  I can even find titles like “Justine” if anyone is into the that niche area of erotique.

  I've always wanted to visit Livraria
  Lello, in Porto, such a beautiful library/ bookstore. Here in Perth we have a few bookshops, I love browsing Planet books in Mount Lawley, but Im quite happy picking up a book for 2 dollars from a thrift store too. Book tokens were my favourite gifts back in the day.
