My mind often goes to sex particularly in the office. Phrases like "Sorry I am late. I was tied up in another meeting", "more bang for your buck", "Does anyone having anything to deposit", etc. but then again I guess I am just depraved. Always have been.

So jilted.., But I have some anecdotes..In Settlers of Catan (20 million copies sold world wide cant be wrong) you trade resources each turn.. You'll often here someone say "Have you got wood for sheep?"But my favorite. In a game of Diplomacy (the worlds oldest war game) about pre World War 1 Europe. One player is asking another player for help as they attack a third. "If I took turkey in the rear, would Greece help?"Gold I tell you!!

All the uni years changed many of the games to involve drinking, especially shot twister and jenga.A great old classic is always spin the bottle and triple D "Deviate, Dare, and Doubles"

It's interesting looking at people talk about games they've enjoyed playing in the past. Game's I use to enjoy in years past. But like all things, games have moved on. If you had fun playing cards or board games in the past, the Euro games that have been emerging over the last 20 years have totally revolutionized the fun.I rate games like movies. It's really rare to find someone who does not like watching "any" films? There is a film genre for nearly everyone. Board games are the same. There is nearly no such thing as a person who does not like board games.Only people who have not worked out what board game genre they like yet...

... think you are right. During my childhood blackouts were a regular occurrence. We played a great deal of board games. And my faves? The ones I could beat my brothers at! KK
