Hi B&B 👋 I haven’t booked anything like this before but it looks epic. Not sure if you have factored this into your cost, but possible quarantining on arrival for two weeks prior to boarding and then upon your return (at your own expense) may be another costly consideration as well. Aust may be in a great place, but with people travelling worldwide to the cruise may have bigger implications to your insurance as well.

No matter if you cruise or fly ' the cruise and airlines will be wanting to recoupe some of the massive profits lost due to covid.. . They never mention the billions they made pre covid ? Seems like your stuck between a rock and a hard place.. Fingers crossed the vaccines are doing thier job next year and you can continue with your plans.

I'd be thinking your last issue with a cruise or resort holiday next year would be the money. Events like this in the northern hemisphere for the unforeseeable future have very high chance of being a super speeder event. I'd it was us, we'd cancel all together, wait for a vaccine and then give it another six months to see what was happening before contemplating it. If you can get your cash back grab it, good things are worth waiting for, but it's not going to help if you have long term side effects from covid. That's our take on it anyways🤷🏻♂️

@spicy , that’s a good point about credit card insurance ,might ask ,and sorry you may have read it wrong ,nov next year is defiantly a no go for us ,and that’s why would people love to 2022 or suck up a 500 loss and call it quits now , we find it freakin rich, sail date is a year away and we get belted with a fee for cancelling now ,

November 21 is still a year away and there are 2 vaccines about to hit the market. Tough call but i would be looking forward to a cruise

Lickintime ,I heard an interview the other day from one of the country’s leading guys on vaccines ,yes the two are looking great ,but at the very very very best ,he could see no possibility for the roll out of it here to be started before April May next year ,and to be honest travel insurance worries me more than the virus ,imagine getting a bill when stuck in America 😪😪😪oh hell no nextvyear is too soon to contemplate the USA ,hell its going to be hard enough relaxing in Australia with known friends for a while for us ,

Well Nov 2021 is an entire year away and so much can happen in that time (positive... vaccine etc). And on the flipside..... its only 500 bucks if you bite the bullet and depin🤷♀️

@spicey ,oh a crystal ball would be handy ,as Mrs b is frothing at the mouth at the prospective loosing 500 so far from the event ,but in two or three years who the hell knows if we would still want to even go and be part of the lifestyle,I vote loose the 500 now ,Mrs is hanging onto it like a tiger ,will call the credit card company and see what they say ,hell I don’t think we could book airfares to the USA even if we wanted to ,how does that not qualify for money back no fees

I read this morning that Royal Carribean have enlisted 100,000 volunteers to go on test cruises in the new year so that they can refine + validate their Covid safe cruising plan, not sure that any plans they come up will be good enough for a Bliss cruise though, not a lot of social distancing happening on these

Yup Spicey ,we wanted to go desire before the cruise , long way to go so Mays well tick off that bucket list all at once , our desision is also wondering about that old saying how long do you chuck good money after bad Cos every 3 months out comes another thousand ,

And for the record nothing changes on how much we loose till the next period which is feb ,so we will just hang off till then ,but happy to hear everything new thoughts in the meanwhile
