I was flicking through the channels (as us males do quite often) and came across it as well. In the beginning I thought what a scary thing to do as to put ones self on the internet exposed visually while in extacy. I was interested enough to look at their website and thought they are getting people to join for minimum $15 a month a little cheaper if you alow 3 month direct debit.I would not call it porn nor do I call it art but I am not a fan of the "Arts" in most modern forms. After thinking about it I came to the opinion that is it just a very cleaver way of making a buck. If it was true art it would be a site with donations to keep it running. The idea of watching someones face as they orgasm had me intrigued then I was a bloke (this was on ABC's Artscape program) then after the website browsing I thought to myself wow how plain am I when I cum? lolI spose I am still on the fence as to wether I'd contribute to something like that. Maybe the fact that you have to pay to contribute and not be able to do it for free is why I have these feelings towards it.

Well it's about the idea (which is brilliant) as opposed to the orgasm.... and I think that is enough to set it apart from porn... and I presume there were no genital shots... I mean... .porn without is pretty crap anyway.HugsStalky

Stalky you are still able to watch it on ABC's IView internet site. It is under the "Artspace" program. It is very interesting indeed. No it is definately not porn pretty much just a "When Sally Met Harry" moment in the diner over and over and over and over and over some 100's of times. I found all the different people and age groups so interesting that they have bared their souls and braved the bravery pill I am not sure I would even brave and submit a clip of myself.L&S

I know someone who works for Feck (the company that runs Beautiful Agony as well as a couple of other sites) as well as a number who have been featured on the site. What they do is interesting and while I think it is porn there are things that separate themselves from your run of the mill porn. The people featured are ordinary people and they do place a lot of emphasis on things like attractive lighting. The other two sites (I Feel Myself and I Shot Myself) feature only women and from what I can gather they are careful that the girls are doing it for the right reasons. They really discourage fake orgasms and fake breasts on the like. I don't know a huge amount about the company itself but this is all from talking to my friend. And before anyone asks no, I am not any of the sites mentioned

I attempted to share the link to their website here a couple of years ago, but RHP didn't post it. S.

If I paint a picture I have to buy my own materials and then sit down and get to work. If I want money for it then I have to take it around the art dealers to try and get it displayed. I wouldn't get someone else to paint the picture and then charge people a fee to look at it. That's not art. Youngviccouple are right when they say that these people are in it to make a buck. If it was pure art then they would pay the people to use their videos. Yes, the concept is artistic and like youtube it gives people a public display forum but it isn't art. Maybe you could call it artistic soft porn.

I guess the decision on whether it is art or porn is up to the viewer. . The company does pay people for the videos. I know this because I was offered the opportunity to make one. I said no thank you because it is too personal and would be too confronting for me. . I do like what they are doing with some of their other projects, as they are female friendly and, be it porn or art, the women involved have got involved purely because they want to and are choosing exactly how they are portayed. No other reason. I have decided to participate in one of the projects as it is a great way for me to use my free will to earn money to go directly to Nightlight, a program that helps sexually exploited women and children break free from their environment. . In my case, I am enjoying the creativity of taking photos and I will not make any financial gain from it, so for me it is art. If someone looking at the photos gets a kick out of them, fantastic, because their financial contribution will help enable a woman in Thailand to take control of her life. It's a win-win situation all round.

The old age debate. Having for jobs and 3 of them being a photographer, a model and artist, I have developed a broad opinion on this topic. I think it comes down to a person decision to the individual view of such material, either it be from a oil painting, photograph, multi-media piece, all of these can convey a artistic or pornography point of view. A nude figure in any of these medium can be seen in either light, for me its about the presentation. I think as soon a sexual theme is applied, then the art vs porngraphy debate comes even mroe engaged by views. I think we also must understand the cintext with the artist, model or producer of such pieces wish for views to see such works. Its coupling the understanding of the piece, reviewing it and trying to understand the piece at a deep meaning helps the view decide art or porn. I am pretty open, and still think senseual or sexual contect can be applied in artistic way. but yes, the art books etc are on the bookshelf and open for others to view if they wish(though some can be a bit confrontal to view) but the porn is stashed under the bed :-) Waggy83
