I agree with you totally...almost all of the Topics on here end up with man bashing! I don't get why women whinge about getting messages "Let's fuck" when they show their tits or are bent over in nothing but a g string! I am sure if you went out like that you wouldn't exactly have men asking you out to dinner! I think the guys on here need to be given a break considering that not many messages are replied to! I know of guys who used to send out great messages and in the end got sick of no reply they then sent short messages! If women are not on here for sex...then don't have sexy pics up...don't fill out your sexual desires...don't even fill in your tit size or whether you have safe sex or not! I was on another dating site a couple of years ago and arramged to meet a woman for dinner and a show. Fine nothing expected but a hope for a good night out. During early conversation she mentioned that she was doing a masters in wait for it..psychology. I have no problem with intelligent women and I work in female dominated workplace and am always welcomed on a ward. The entire dinner was taken up with how I felt and why did I do what I do for a living. WTF? it even continued into the band part of the evening I was enjoyign the music and the singer invited auduience singing along. I was boogying and singing to the band and this psychology master? was telling me she was embarassed with my singing and obvious delight in music. Next day I recieved an email asking if I had a good time. When I replied honestly she was deeply offended that I wasn't impressed with her obvious intelligence and wit. Well you live and learn... There's just no pleasing some people, is there? Cassandra, there's nothing arrogant in using your own judgement. Many members complain about all the cock picks. Still, if the men in question had no luck at all, they would probably change them. I guess there is a niche that they ill and it's no fault of yours if you're not part of it. Whether you call it judgement, opinion, conclusion, assessment or point of view, it's all the same thing and it's how we arrive at our decisions on a daily basis. There's no arrogance in it.

I don't try to meet women on here, so I can't comment on how they behave in the 'meet and greet' process. I do get messages from a LOT of men (as most women do) and the vast majority of the messages are ridiculous, ignorant and sometimes offensive. I imagine some women might respond positively to them but most wouldn't. I gave up man-bashing in 2000, and yes, I remember the exact moment I had a good hard look at myself and decided to stop being a bitch. I love men, pure and simple. However, men on here really don't help themselves and it still amazes me that many are annoyed that they get little response from women given how they (men generally) approach women on here. This is not man bashing, it is simply observation and experience. I absolutely believe that it costs nothing to be polite and respectful regardless of how a man might behave. I equally believe there's no obligation for anyone on here to reply to all messages or to explain their choices or decisions. I get around both of these beliefs by having a pleasant, honest auto-reply. My belief is that I should hold myself to the standards I expect from others. People will either reflect the same level of respect and courtesy back to me, in which case we might chat and get to know each othet OR if they're rude and discourteous I'll ignore them and we'll both move on without a second thought. Honestly, I don't think it's that hard to play the game nicely, regardless of which team you're on. I do get disappointed from time to time about the direction some threads take, but also understand that the battle of the sexes is sport for some :)

It is very easy to get an inflated sense of self when your a woman on a internet date site. We all like to create a good image of ourselves, yes a sexy one at at that. Some women like to display themselves on the internet with pictures or web cam as it turns them on, and it may be as far as they can go to the naughty side of the street. Others in reality will not be approached by men, they may not fit the stereotypical body that most men or women like. Because of this they can be that hot thing, with men fawning over them, without leaving the lounge room. After a while a sense of power creeps in, and the illusion of self perception as opposed to reality soon starts to domintate behavious. Internet interaction can pump up a deflated self esteem. The trick is to translate those feelings into reality. To actually meet men and to get to listen to their side of the story. Any fool can be an internet warrior regardless of gender. I sometimes roll my eyes if the same guy sends me messages over and over when I have clearly said no thank you. But I try not be nasty though at times it can frustrate me no end. We as women take the piss out of men and they take the piss out of us. After all we speak different languages and really I do not think women are clear enough at times and men do not read subtle signals. Take your thoughts off-line into the world of sight, sound touch feel, and drink of the essence of the sexual sensual male. Not all men are the same, nor all women and a mirror helps to get a picture of your reality. But its also fun to have heated debate on the gender issues , so long as it does not get nasty. Men I luuuuvvvvvvvvvv em.

Not that well said ... I mean more men than women so my point makes no sense ... But some guy friends experiences say they don't hang out long cause of it all- nice dateable guys who may not have a clue how to start here to get their needs met (whatever they are) it's all a bit like an interview or make it real quick and see how I go.... It works beautifully if your creatively apt at striking up convo - I had one guy do it perfectly..... And yes mike either research for work or just to make sure your not like the last ... Oh and you did a runner and proved she was right. I know I'm a dissecting kinda woman. But that said, I'm a bit exhausted from all the dating and dissection. Remind me to K.I.S.S and be nice.... I'm going to play with my kids now.

I cannot take this site seriously anymore. I gave up on messaging long ago....don't even know how many I'm allowed to send per day - those that I do send are mostly reserved for the people I've already established contact with. We get this all the time when we tell people we are psychologists - "oh, so are you analysing us right now?" WTF? We don't analyse anyone in that sense. Psychology is an extremely broad field, and that public perception of psychology = psychoanalysis / examining your feelings blah blah blah is completely incorrect - it's what about 0.01% of psychologists actually do.
