yes......... I want to know of some good places too.... where u can meet people, talk, enjoy music and a great social night............not totally full of youngsters would be great.

yes luvinIt, we to would enjoy a refined venue to meet ,talk & share a nice red with interesting, sensual ppl..our fav at the moment is the Robin Hood Hotel, nice platters...lol

I'm sure if someone nominated a nice sexy cocktail bar or the like, word would soon get around thats where to go and it would be frequented by couples etc looking to meet and chat. Probably best central around CBD or city limits but somewhere not too busy and full of weekend party goers. Open to suggestions?

nice pub ...when....? & how r cpls going to make contact... someone has to facilitate the rendezvous ... We belive the problem in the past with these arrangements is not many cpls (none) turn up. Will,Livalot,Sugars or Classy attend ? Will any other cpls put their name forward to attend ?? lets pick a night & c what happens???

hey there Rendezvous4u.........you are right about people saying they all want to have a place to go and then when u try to organise it a lot do not turn up. I tried to organise a get together once b4 in a club with the owner but the problem was that for him to make it viable he needed commitment and money up front. That ended up being cancelled as hardly anyone commited. No one wants to use their premises and just HOPE enough people will turn up to make it both viable and enjoyable. I want to try again to arrange a couples night in a city club but this time with no pre payment, just a small entry fee on the night. If i can arrange it then we will see if the Adelaide couples that complain there is no where to go meet other like minded couples will turn up!!

why not just nominate a meeting place and see who rocks up? make it far enough in the future and talk about it enough to keep it live in peoples minds and you should get a few heads turning up. A pub thats not far off the beaten track is a good idea to start with, then those who want to party can hit the clubs or go somewhere private. That is the point of a 'regular' venue where swing friendly people go. If you need to know if ppl are into it get peopl eto wear a ribbon or a certain colour or something.

A nice classy lounge bar / club would be great, I would dare say Melbourne or Nsw would maybe have a few, Maybe just having a club that just couples looking go to may get limited numbers of people attending and the management may not support the longterm idea, Maybe just a normal average bar/ club and just spread the word around amoung the members of Amm and RHP and hopefully people will just attend, no use counting on forums as you'll get the "I'll be their - no shows" I'm guessing like minded people will chat and exchange looks and start chatting from their, people used to do it before msn and webchat... Just having a look around you have boho bar, the garage, the oxford, the kentish arms (north adelaide), the stanford or hilton cocktail bars...... no one club is going to make everyone happy it just has to be a nice meeting pont for the real couples..

We've sought to arrange social gatherings with a number of couples over the last few months and have had interest shown by around 20 couples. However not easy to round up any great numbers once a date & venue is nominated. Our idea would be just to establish a particular bar as the place where interested couples are likely to hangout. So if anyone is prepared to act as an organiser, we're happy to pitch in

OK all u couples out there........I will start the ball rolling............how does it sound if we arrange a meet and greet for COUPLES on Saturday April 17th. The venue chioce is never going to please everyone but have to pick one. So I am suggesting the Kings Head? I am a firm believer that u make ur own fun no matter where u are. If we make the starting time not too late like 8pm then we will have a quieter venue until things pick up and they get busier. Send us a message - Sugarsgotspice if u agree and want to meet up there. We will be there. Let others know u will be attending simply by placing a comment on here. This is a very informal way of doing it but it should work..........pass the word around to other couples you know who would be interested. Lets see how many we can get to go and make this the start of some very enjoyable times and friendships. Thanks and see u there.

We would love a classy bar, club or pub somewhere to meet like minded people for a few drinks, dancing and socialising. This appeals much more than full on swingers nights.Maybe we are alone in this way of thinking?

Ur not alone in ur way of thinking BEACHCOUPLE50. so come to the Kings Head on the 17th April and lets meet other couples who like to sociallize and get to know people first before considering taking things further. It has a nice bar area.

We hate to be a pain but how about a place with a band or dj...We do love dancing and think its also a good way to loosen up with new friends.La Bohme or the Crown and Septre are near by the Kings Head and are 2 of our fave places

Think its a bit late to start changing venue We've sent out notification to 25-30 couples on other sites Fact that the others are so close, its always an option to move on later if you find others how'd like to join you.

think its a bit lately to consider changing venues we'll messaged 25-30 couples about the night In any case, its walking distance to these other venues, so theres always the option to move on later in the night if you find anyone who'd like to join you

Hey guys I called the Kings and found out they have a DJ on in the front bar from 9pm. So......... if there is no other requests...... lol......... we will see you there. We are going to get there b4 8pm to try and secure an area for us but it is pot luck as to how busy or quiet it will be at 8pm.

We are just looking for a regular fun bar where like minded people can mix with who ever they like and have a drink a laugh and dance.Couples, singles what ever. Its not for us unless its non exclusive.We know there are swingers clubs and regular meet and greets from here and other web sites but we were looking for an alternative to that sort of thing.If people are going to exclude others from showing up to a public bar or club then its not what we are looking for because its just another one off, organised boring meet and greet.

thanks to all those who came out on the 16/4. we had over 10 couples and that is pretty good for adelaide. those who thought about coming but didnt, hopefully next time. it was fun and relaxed. my partner and i had a great time and really enjoyed meeting u all. hopefully we can plan another get together in the future and there are a few we would love to catch up with real soon lol xx

we're not native South Australians, but as Adelaide is our closest Capital City, we'd really love it if there was somewhere like this to go that we'd find like minded people...We're still very green around the gills, and feel a place like this would be a good place to dip the toes...
