Waggy,I live with a mate and we have a cool bachelor pad...Jurasic Park pinball - pool table...Arcade machine (god I love galaga) - xbox...big TV and 5TB of Music and Movies to entertain us - I'd die without good music....I keep it clean...A little OCD even but its nice to come home and its spotless.....gone are the days when I was 18 living like an animal....lolA couple of well placed pieces of modern art or design pieces make it awesome for a renter...Me likey lots....Chill

I agree with Sweetie. You can furnish your house out of the second hand shop and I wouldnt care. Just make sure it is clean. I dont want to feel afraid of what I may catch if I use the facilities.

Yes, I agree with woody_pusscat. A high thread count never hurts. Please no satin though, it will make me question your taste levels as well as mine. Things like your TV won't make much difference but keeping it clean and maybe having decent quality glassware might make it more appealing (only speaking for myself here) .

Waggy, just be stylish - not too boyish. Ambience is the key. Soft lighting at night if you can manage it. Make sure your furniture and accessories match. I'm sure one of the lovely ladies would enjoy taking you on a shopping expedition. I went through the proccess a few months ago and I love my space. Keep the tones earthy and keep the tech minimalist. You can get some great surround sounds for about $500. And don't make the tv the focus of the room Fuck, I must sound gay lol

Hey Waggy, Sounds like your getting a decent setup going but a few things you might want to think of that will also keep the ladies there once they step through the door... - A decent leather couch with a chaise for kicking back with a beer watching the footy or a good dvd - Gaming system that has a motion sensor attachment, heaps of fun for party nights (especially if it has a karaoke game) - Good quality matching glassware for when you have a few people over. Even target have decent (and cheapish) glassware and chicks dig drinking out of a nice wine or champagne glass instead of a coffee mug with your footy team on it ;-)

Most of the advice is spot on, your place has to not only look clean but actually be clean. Don't worry about parttimedad's advice unless you are looking to hook up with another 20something guy, no offence mate. You don't have to be fancy on the decore, a ONS won't care all that much but a girl that wants to hang around will want to add her touches

over a lake, a Havanah lounge, French Art, fully equipped bar, new kitchen with yummy food, music and a pool and gym (plus lots of remote control toys and gadgets and terrabytes of porn) It's a Pad allright. Still can't find anyone on RHP who wants to come play though! Must be an ugly motherfuker or something?
