I dated a guy who was balding at 25 and so he shaved it all off. He was fucking hot. I can't even imagine what he'd look like with hair.I dated another guy who was bald at 42 and again, he shaved it all off.As long as he owns it and don't have a combover or get a toupe, I really don't mind. The George Constanza look isn't very attractive though...

Interesting how perceptions have changed Some men with a full head of hair are terribly unattractive while some bald men are sizzling hot and can melt thermostat at 50 paces! A strong, confident man is sexy to me, not necessarily his hair. Personally I look at the whole package - smiling cheeky eyes, wit and sense of humour, strong confident personality and if it is wrapped up in a hot body then that is a bonus. Hair or no hair is not important but a comb over is definitely a turn off. 50zcool - A shaved head is usually a sign of confidence and yours looks good. Hugs SF xx

i started shaving my head at age 16... i use to get a lot of strange looks back then too, as it wasn't really fashionable at the time. Who cares, i liked it. My cousin the hairdresser was amazed i could do my own 'fades', tapering a 0 into a number 1 with the clippers.... any longer than 3 weeks though between shaves, i end up with bed hair... so off it comes again. Like Hesione said, the shape of your face and head can either work for you, or against you.... i've have noticed some women can 'pull off' the bald look too

As GreyEyesHobart pointed out, Jason Alexander is no sex symbol but that has very little to do with his hair. At one stage, inspite of his age and baldness, Sean Connery was considered the sexiest man alive. The girls swoon for Vin Diesel too. Yul Brynner was considered exotic and mysterious and Patrick Stewart seems to have faired pretty well. The look doesn't work for everyone. Can you imagine a bald John Travolta or Tom Cruise? How about Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman)? Statham, Willis, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Clarke Duncan all carry off the look well. Michael Berryman (from The Hills Have Eyes) not so much.

Personally, bald men are absolutely on my "to do" list. Love them! There's something entirely delicious about seeing a naked head between my legs . If he's bald and a tradie, well that's just an added bonus. Bald it hot!

For Jane its a instant NO if the guy is bald. This is one time where I tend to not see what the fuss is about with this part of her criteria. We have come in contact with some amazing couples that both have great body's, very attractive face's and good vibe about there personality's. Everything is green light we have found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow the needle in the hay stack . Then we open there 2nd PG this one that has a pic of the guy and this time he isn't wearing a hat and is completely bald. Suddenly things come to a screeching stop and Jane jumps back from the pc and turns to me with a look of disappointment. It's happened so often we actually made special mention of it in our profile.I have jokingly mentioned perhaps we can buy a wig and have it on standby to solve the issue.Seriously though Attraction is a funny thing and its very personal you ether or or you are not.From my side after frantically inspecting the comb and measuring my hairline each day in a state of panic . I ask Jane a question . What if I end up bald one day? She replies its different with you we have a history. I guess thats just nice talk for.. My brother lost his hair at a very young age and the agony he suffered at the hands of others was heartbreaking to watch..I watched a extemely good looking guy broken by other peoples cruel insensitive comments, however' he eventually turned that all around .. Some time back he had cosmetic hair replacement done and this slowly increased his confidence back to where he once was. But as good as he looked' he was always sceptical some cretin would expose him rather than just accept him the way he looked. One jealous acquaintance did just this and he decked him.. and rightfully so' everyone agreed the wanker deserved it..Now in his thirties' he took the plunge and shaved the lot.. he has a beautifull GF who just adores him and his life is good. I think now that it is more acceptable to shave one's head' more and more guys take that option.. If it was popular back when my brother lost his hair ' Im sure this is something he would have done.. But I agree a guy must have a good shaped head to get away with it ... There is a guy we often see around our area that should have had second thoughts before he shaved his head.. he definately looked better with hair... Testosterone and Hereditary factors causes baldness, no one goes bald by choice unless they shave it...MrsJJ

Since I was in primary school Ive always had short shaved hair, so when the Male pattern baldness eventually kicked in ,it got a little shorter but people never really noticed the change because I have always been short.But Ive seen some guy's that try and hold onto there hair as long as possible then eventually take to the clippers and It just looks wrong.My wife work's in the Fitness Industry , being of Afro Caribbean heritage her hair is hard to look after with all the sweat so she shaved it bald like mine..WOW it was an amazing look.Grace Jones like.We get so many looks ,Black girl ,white guy and 2 carmel boy's all with bald heads definitely turns the odd head.We are the Bald Family and love it..

I've always loved the short shave, tall, dark, handsome, and tats. And I wouldn't of thought I'd be attracted to completely bald, but apparently I can be a sucker! Eyes and smile can really do it for me ... Plus all that other stuff beneath the bald surface. Haha and if you can make me laugh I'll be your friend for life! I'd say don't limit your 'type', you never know till you try, or what you'd be missing out on. My answers sexy!.... However, semi-bald, is just bad fashion

At 6'2", shaven head, with tats i think it's all about how you feel. I started to shave my head 6 years ago for work, the first day I was getting comments of customers and staff about how good I look, not just the lack of hair, but comments like "have you been working out" As I tend to wear a lot of fitted tops and cargos on the weekend, seams like it was one of the best things I could have done. It's all about how you feel, you feel good about yourself, others will notice. Own your look, and enjoy. Talltoned. xx

Hubby had hair when I met him ...... was starting to recede so he shaved it off, I love it and would never want him to grow it back .... the number of women that ask me if they can touch his head when we are out is awesome .... win win for him and me! Don't knock it until you've felt it lol

The sexiest Lover I had the priviledge to enjoy was Bald...He kept it shaved..the only way I Like it and is sexy....Hair growing any length around the base of the crown ..... or some draped over ....are a real turn off! My Personal Preference is Guys with hair.... But when it comes down to it.... Personality,Intelligence, Confidence in Himself and all he does... I have had little choice in the matter. I have the No.1 all over. If I let it grow, it shows the natural bald spot :POn the upside, now and again my wife will get naked to give me a haircut, and she loves me shaved.

First big crush of my life was a bald guy...current lover also follically challenged but is the sexiest man I've ever known. Seriously, it is a great sensation, takes a bit of extra time but well worth it The only problem is people think your a badass (which I could never be) until you smile an it instantly makes people feel at ease Here's another point to add, do all you ladies (and men for that matter) like to have a shaved guy downstairs - it's the same feeling / sensation on the head When people joke to me about "does the carpet match the curtains" I always tell them there ain't no carpet, it's tiled !! Leave them wondering Off to shave myself ;-)

What an interesting read.Basking61 - I love your friends quote, I think I'll steal that! I shaved my head when I was 21 because I knew the hair loss was inevitable having seen it happen to my grandad and dad. I took the plunge and loved it. Being a waterbaby I find it way more suitable to my lifestyle too, it dries in no time, I don't ever have to style it. The added bonus of not having to pay someone else to cut it! It's good to see there are a fair number of women out there who still appreciate a nicely shaved head, I know my wife loves to run her hands over my head when it's freshly shaved, when we're kissing, or when my head is between her legs.....I think I used up more of my hair growing hormones on my chest....but I'm still no gorilla!

42 and not even a receding hairline! Shaved ages ago as part of a cancer fundraiser but I just looked strange! A few of my friends actually asked me delicately if I still had my health! I don't seem to have the head for baldness lol

I lost my hair many years ago and still have not found it ,,, it is hiding in a very good place LOL, But al jocking a side I have lost count of the times I would be sitting at a pub or some wear out and all of a sudden I find my head being rubbed by a total stranger ( females ) even when my wife was there and they said that they love bald heads and they just had to have a feel , so as for me I am happy being a SMOOTHY on top as well. and I have not have to pay for a hair cut in 30 years , I save a fortune. that bald men where never made extinct through the process of natural selection, as women chose them as a mate because their mature appearance and apparent less risk in attracting another woman made them a seamingly dependable choice as a partner to rear children. From what I read on this forum lol, its the men with hair that may now become the abovementioned.
