Thought I was the only person who did this stupid Apart from all my get down and get dirty pics and contacts, it has all my work related stuff on it as well And I can so relate to the fear factor that your feeling OP So praying that you have your passcode lock on - I'm kind of tipping you haven't :-( Hugs

I would also hate it if I left my phone at home, I would be too worried about what I was missing out on I do have a pass code on my phone so that no one can read my messages. my phone is set so that it automatically locks after 2 minutes. I also have photo vault (a free app) where I hide my less appropriate pictures. This has a different pass code. When my son is with me he does like playing on my phone and I always check that there isn't anything that he could see by accident. What I have noticed is that if someone sends me a pic on WhatsApp it automatically saves it to my photos. This is not good!

Down load the KEEPSAFE app to store all your naughty pics in. Its a passcoded gallery safe. Use KIK instead of giving your number out.. KIK is a DATA based chat system. its an app that you set up a username and you just add or block who you wish. Saves giving out your mobile number. If you have a IPHONE, be mindful not to CLOUD I think its called with your children's I PADS. save you a please explain from your son or daughter as to why mummy is bound and gagged..lol Just a few ideas.

My kids know not to touch my phone this was always the way even before rhp. It started when they were little to protect them from the swearing and nasty messages from their dad. I have pass codes and settings and locked storage areas to alleviate some of the stress of inappropriate material being inadvertently seen. It's never really off my person though and if I left it anywhere I would go and get it. I have left work and driven home to get my phone. I also have kids with some health issues, life threatening allergies, asthma, epilepsy so there's that as well and the schools know they will always reach me on the mobile. If you have an iPhone and decide to charge it on your computer at work don't EVER choose the option of downloading your pics onto your computer. I nearly said yes the other day. I've never unplugged my phone so quickly in my life. Fark, that would have been embarrassing

if you go into your settings, you can set the age restriction to 12 or younger. This blocks all adult apps so they actually disappear from your phone (hidden totally). You just need to get into the HABIT of changing the setting everytime you arent in those desirable apps you crave. When you want to use your adult stuff, change the restriction back. The age restriction setting also has its own code you can set to get into it. as for whatsapp, you CAN change the settings so that it doesnt automatically save message to your camera roll. However, if you used Kick instead, that app would also disappear when you change your age restrictions. Thus your phone would be free of those dangerous images from undesirable eyes. Doing the above keeps it safe when there are kids about, so they dont stumble upon your private stuff.

You can simply go into wattsApp settings: Settings> Chat Settings> You'll see the slider for "Save incoming Media" and just slide this one to the left to save any potential embarrassment. If i recall at the last drinks night ,i looked down at your phone and what did i see? Bwahajhahahaha. You would all laugh at my phone.. a Nokia 7600... it has a flash light ! But is tonka tough.. a few computers running windows 8 and they like to sync together which I did, I quickly undid it as fast as I did it as I have a laptop in my bedroom but a main computer in the loungeroom and sometimes it is easier to just use the loungeroom computer for quick documents rather than getting comfy in my room because I usually end up on here! I did sync them initially but the live tiles kept popping up with my pics and often if you look at them and then close it down, it is the first thing that pops up when you open up the next time! My son's girlfriend got an eyeful of a pic of me having sex! Took me ages to work out how to stop the live tiles, windows 8 is so confusing! As for my phone, I used to have a passcode but I think it shit me off so I took it back off. Time to reapply me thinks!

We are new to RHP, have met a great bloke, lots of sexy pictures (from both sides) very explicit details what we want to do to each other via text. A couple of days after this, I get home from work and my 14 year old daughter takes me into the ensuite to talk about something private. I didn't think anything of this till she says "I've been getting all your messages." I plead ignorance and she is able to tell me discreetly 'that she has read the sexy chats.' I think it's hilarious, her dad does not think its funny as the messages involved discussion about 'fucking his arse'. I have made sure that she is not linked to me in anyway via our phones. Mxx

Certain phone texts and messages go to a private area, same with photos. So your other half or friends can look through your messages and not see smut. I love it and it makes me feel so much more confident!

I said on another thread that my main phone is my business phone so I have a separate phone I call my monkey business phone. Never cross the streams. I also use Kik. For those that use Viber just be aware that messages pop up even if screen is locked. Had a playmate warn me about that so e use normal sms so no-one can read stuff her phone is on charger. Incidently one of those guys in the US that attacked the australian baseball player was convicted because when he was in being questioned he asked to charge his phone and it synched pictures of the crime to the cops laptop. geez even our electronic devices need to wear protection. Download Photo Vault for your naughty pix. It's what I did to protect mine....😖 regularly flick through pix and Gawd Help Me if I haven't had to go "Ummm" a few times ☺️

3 years ago, I filed for divorce. About a month or so prior to the hearing, I attended a school excursion with my middle daughter. Upon arriving home, and my eyeballs doing their best BASE jumping rendition, and I was asked to sleep on the couch as my ex wife didn't want my death due to a fatigue related crash on her conscience. God bless her. I kindly thanked her and the next day, she came to me and asked "can you move your car, so I can get my car out to go to the laundromat?" "No," I replied throwing her the keys to my car. "You can just take my car. You've been kind enough to let me stay, and there's some spare coin in the ashtray for the dryers if you wish in appreciation for your hospitality." She'd been gone about 10 minutes, before my car returned at high speed, almost parking in her driveway on two wheels. She comes inside, tears down her face, smoke billowing from her ears like hell had rejected her. "Hmmm....so....I take it the dryers were all taken then??" I asked. "Pack your shit, and get the fuck out of my house!!" She scorned!! "Hmmmm....ok....but are you going to extend to me the courtesy of an explanation as to what has brought this on, or shall I retreat from your menstrual warfare in the dark???" I asked. "Well....why don't you ask Rachel??(names changed for obvious reasons)" she hissed. "Well, I may do that, but I'm asking you :)" I exclaimed. Cutting a long story short, it turns out she went through my phone that was in the glovebox, contacted a lady with whom I was seeing at the time, and tried to start world war 3 with her. Unfortunately, the lady I was seeing had the better argument forcing my ex wife to retreat with her tail firmly between her legs!!! Lol I just smirked at her and said "well....if you're not prepared to see something you don't want to see.....best be not looking eh?? :) besides, I think karma just kicked your disrespectful arse as you had no right searching my car like some petulant, insecure control freak!! I had the ICloud issue. I was setting up a Christmas present for my child and was mortafied when photos automatically synced. At least the guy at the apple store had a good laugh while I turned every shade of red. I use a locked app and clear off anything that may be offensive before any little hands can get to it. - Posted from rhpmobile

Thats so uncool. I can however imagine the showing a mate photo mishap... I was worried i had skin cancer for a bit so i took a photo of it cos i couldn't see it well enough. False alarm, just a mole. Thing was it was right above my old fella, so i took my pants off for the photo. then i was showing a mate photos of my brothers fish tank, when i realised the next photo up is basically a cock shot. I grabbed it back off him in time. these days i don't keep stuff like that on my phone. I transfer to my already locked down computer immediately if i want/need it or simply delete it as was done with now unnecessary cancer check cock shot... As to delicate conversations... Well like the tag line sez... who goes through other peoples phones?... Whatever the invading party might discover will quickly be overshadowed by the severe ear verbal ear bashing that i wouldl deliver.
