Any reason why you won't prefer to go to a swinger club to look for play or potential playmates?

  I think there is a lot of allure around the whole social aspect of it too. Being able to sit around a drink or two and be able to broach topics in conversation that you normally couldn't when talking to a 'muggle' couple who you might newly befriend.It also depends on your own individual reason for wanting to go - I can understand some people prefer to go and target some prey, attack and never see again - the trill of the hunt can get them going. We're quite opposite on that where we'd prefer to make long-term lasting friendships with repeat business ;)At least with the clubs, you know that everyone there is interested in getting something going - unlike countless 'fantasy' profiles here :)

  Attending a club night as for swinger parties would love to go to one however they would have to be a "special" person I go with..Someone I can trust not just some random wanting to get their rocks off wanting a quick f*ck for the thrill...I would hope friendships would be formed as in long-term...   Agree with all replies above. Will also like to hear more someone who doesn't go to clubs or has not gone so far bcos something is holding him back.Nobody will open a swinger club if no business model exist. There are reasons why ppl will like to visit a swinger club. I am particularly interested in understanding what reasons ppl have not to go. A negative post was deliberately created to understand the boundary conditions of some people's relationships with the club environment. I will be also interested to create a separate post to understand psychology behind creating fantasy profiles, but what fascinates me more why ppl find hard to go past these profiles, in no time.

  I've never been to a swingers event but I am quite interested in meeting someone who I could share the experience with every now and then. A nice FB to laugh and play together with.

  That the Swingers clubs and Private parties are the best places to meet up with likeminded couples, compared to swingers sites. For some reason the "sites" can be a bit of a hit and miss as people's lives don't always align when they're free to meet, which can put people off and they can lose interest, which is a bit of a shame sometimes. The clubs and parties allow you to "network" with couples a lot easier than the sites, as you can meet the person/s, not just the profile when it suits your own timeframe..

  The beauty of the swinger club is simply convenience . It is so hard at times in our busy lives to arrange times and places that suit everyone. At a club every one is there to play , a captive audience.- Posted from rhpmobile

Since joining the Forums and talking to others, my whole views have changed and done a complete 360 turn , just from being opened minded and educated. I would love to experience however I would like to go with someone I completely trust 100%, just so I feel that comfort, safeness and security..It would be too over whelming if I were to go on my own..LOL introverts just can't handle something like that - it takes a lot of courage when doing something new and stepping outside comfort zone...not only that, I guess it's my confidence too.FOXY

  I guess it depends what you're looking for and how often you're looking for it. Clubs definitely have their place, but for us, we prefer to take our time and build a friendship with real benefits - and if that means we play less frequently because busy lives and conflicting schedules gets in the way, that's okay with us! Some things in life just taste better when you've waited for it 😜. That's not to say we'll never visit another club, after all, what better place to be full and frank about our lifestyle!   As a single woman, I find the idea of going to a swingers club etc WAAAAAYY too intimidating. I guess its partly fear of any new situation (but I am old enough and confident enough to overcome this if the attraction is there). The main reason I haven't been before is worrying that I won't feel the snap of chemistry with anyone.... I'm not attracted to many people in real life (such as out at a bar or party) so I'm guessing the same would be true at a swingers event and its pretty socially awkward if you aren't into someone.   Hi Ms Otori here :) In response to OP's question of not wanting to go to a club, I would say that it's the mystery that surrounds what goes on in one. When Mr Otori was trying to convince me to go with him (it took a LOT of convincing), the reason I didn't want to go was purely because I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know if it would be a complete meat-market, or noisy bar atmosphere (HATE noisy bars, I know, such a nanna), or if it would be a complete waste of time (considering the closest ones to us are over an hour's drive away). The website didn't really contain enough information to get a sense of what to expect when you're a noob and walk through the door. When we went we had a pleasant experience, but other friends of ours that I've spoken to about clubs have said they are really cliquey and the don't get any action out of it, they say no-one wants to play, that would be a turn-off for clubs. I dunno, maybe it's just them LOL, cos we had a good night.
