Always treat others as you would expect to be treated. The flipside to this, ofcourse, is that if other people are treating you poorly, they have no right to expect any better from you. I'm not one for turning the other cheek.

Much the same as Jensman. . Always treat others as you would like them to treat you. . If they dont treat you that way then walk away and have nothing to do with them. Tit for tat does nothing. It is not thier fault they are turkeys and cannot soar with us eagles and maybe they have not had good examples in thier lives.

So my rule has been used! IE: do unto others.... Ok lil red, does the architectural thing apply to dyed hair? coz you are on a hiding to nothing there mate. How about "Blue and Green should not be seen without a colour in between?" Old fashion rule of my mum "Dog bless her".(easier to write than "imaginary deity bless her" Mike

Well done that lady.. so my 5 as they stand from this list..1/ Pavement and Architectural finishes should not be Faux!!2/@Miketheduc - Blue and Green should not be seen without a colour in between3/ @Peachy - learn something new everyday4/ @yensman (assuming he's swedish) - Always treat others as you would expect to be treated (though lowering my self to the level of others is something I try to avoid. even if it is tempting :-P )5/ My next one - Cover versions should not sound exactly like the original :-)@Lostfoucus - you'd get a nod, but I like my feet being touched LOL..

An extension to part two of my rule is, "Never start a fight but always finish it." As I taught my sons while they were school age, if you walk away from a fight you will be followed and taunted. You become a victim. If you stand up for yourself (and others) bullies think twice before attacking their next victim.
